9B - Day 17 Flower
The girl with more branches is also sporting some hot-pink stems. Too many variables to pin down the reason.

Her thinner sisters stems are all green. Without training her silhouette would have been a perfect little Christmas tree.

If you can see, some pre-flowers got freaky when nobody was looking. The father is a UVxLaDiva auto flower.
-_-
This is the female UVxLaDiva, and the target of the pollen:

A couple of pics from my Snow Lotus x Tahoe Alien/Soul Food.
I have 3 females of this under hps lights ( 1000w.)
They smell delicious and are sticky as fk. Looking forward to smoking this one.

Happy growing,
Gaz

Its Tom Hills Haze x Williams Wonder. It is a popular cut around Denver. Finishes around 60 days with decent yields. The high is what sets it apart. Very clear uplifting and care free high.

@oleskool830 and @Baltimore have some of these crosses as well. just sayin

Youā€™ll be very happy if the Blue OG (Bluemoonshine x OGK) comes through. It always delivered a blueberry muffin smell similar to Sunshine Daydream. Instead of sour it is more of a gas smell from the OGK in it. Always very potent, I know this cut tested around ā€œ32%ā€, but take that as a grain of salt.

Well thank you my good sir!
More goodness to unpack in these beans.
Especially with Blueberry in the Snow Lotus (Sweet tooth) and the Blue Moonshine.

Mine will be on stage very soon. 2-B was flipped a week ago and sporting flowers already. I stripped all the large fans and fed them a little.

I have pics but havenā€™t edited the HPS light out yet. Hereā€™s a couple of the tops.

Hey bro. I love those dramatic leaves. Do you always remove the big fans at flip? Inquiring mindsā€¦

I do if the look like theyā€™re waning anyway. I figure it redirects the energy to bud building. You can see I left the top ones on. Theyā€™re still full on solar panels right now.

The all had such huge fan leaves that no light would penetrate so time for more airflow down there and better light. Plus, Iā€™m not feeding a pound of big leaves. I bet I took that much off of the 15 plants.

I let them veg longer than planned but didnā€™t want to trim much earlier. The environment isnā€™t perfect (averaging about 60-64 degrees) so I figure leave em alone till they were well established.

I used to do it a long time ago and I saw huge harvests after, outside. I also load them up with some food at flip since they are trying to build new bud sites as well as transition to flowering.

I have one fertilizer I use only once during the grow normally. I got it on a clearance shelf because it was cheap. Itā€™s Buried Treasure Peruvian Seabird Guano. Itā€™s a weird mix but I find it helpful right at this stage.

Itā€™s 12-10-3. It has a lot of N but doesnā€™t seem to burn. Too much too late and it will be way to green and too much vegging during flowering. But, it works perfect at or before flip because it supplies plenty of N to build new bud sites but also plenty of phosphate to set up the flowering.

Then later Iā€™ll give a booster of bat guano type liquid (Roots Organics HP2). I already have my soil loaded up with some dry nutes from Roots, Grow, Foundation, and Bloom. I rely on the microbe population to break it down slowly and provide it when needed.

Iā€™m sort of faking a real super soil type of thing. I reuse my soil of Pro Mix/EWC/and a little Ocean Forest soil or good compost if I have it. I just add in some fresh EWC and soil plus new dry nutes. Itā€™s getting closer and closer to water only once growing. Itā€™s taken me a few years to get a feel for how the microbes and dry ingredients work but I think Iā€™m in a pretty good spot atm.

When I can Iā€™ll buy stuff in bulk from Build-A-Soil but I live week to week right now so I buy the 3lb bags of Roots and it already has the right blends of minerals included.

Damnā€¦ that deserves a bowl and a drink of beer.
