I have an AC Infinity my plants are in flower for 10 days so far so I’m like well I’ll give him a little higher intensity light today and then I’ll turn it off right before they go to sleep for the night. Well I woke up at 7:00 in the morning and realize that the light had been on the entire night oops. So they had 8 hours extra late last night I did turn it off as soon as I realized it I have read that to watch for herms this that and another thing that shouldn’t be an issue still pisses me off that I did it LOL.
I flipped my tent to 12/12 about 20 days ago and in the process apparently programmed my AC Infinity UV bars to run 24 hours, just caught it yesterday. We’ll see how that turns out.
Day 10, you’ll be fine I think. Interrupting a dark period seems to have a bigger impact in my experience. Good luck.
I’ve done that before. Nothing but a hiccup.
Thank you guys I know it’s something small but it’s really nice to hear reassurance love this community
That sucks bud would it maybe just to lay it since they never really had a dark period?
Yeah, I don’t anticipate issues on my end, I just wasted a bunch of days.
A few hours of extra light for one day isn’t anything to worry about, just carry on like nothing happened.
All will be well my friend
Regarding turning the light off in the morning: dramatically changing a light schedule is likely to cause more stress than an extra 12 hours.
That sucks I figured if I would have turned off the light and let it come back like it was scheduled to come on that it would have probably been better for it. Next time just let it ride all the way through to the time it usually goes off?
I think we’ve all done it at one time or another from either a timer malfunction or brain malfunction etc. Lol.
All will be fine brother.
If you need to get your timer set, and you’re flowering, its better to give them extra darkness than extra light while your getting your timer caught up to the right time.
That’s not gospel truth, but it is what I would have done.
