oatz x rolling thunder stretched, so readjusted the seedling (i hope that’s allowed didn’t add any coco just buried her deeper). She or he is in the shadows of her big sister in the flower tent 11/13 from seed.
Now I just got an idea if I f2 the dungeon master
aka oatz x rolling thunder a twenty sided die flip would be cool. You make 3d print these kind of things rignt? @JustANobody
Yea man I hook up people where I can. I am not great at designing stuff.
Cool I will circle back at some point. When I have enough seeds of anything. More you do it better you get. I noticed you did some nice ones. Thank you
Circle back sounds kind of corporate I should’ve used that word during the attempts of being an office dude which never worked as you all can guess. Damn I wish I fit in hah
No worries dude just hit me up
Welcome back stackerz good times
@anon73244938 pretty sure that’s allowed. I full on reburied one of mine because it stretched beyond it’s business. I can already see @JustANobody chopping an inch off his root mass every week to replant 🫣
Syrian V # 1 from seed !
Day 8 I think
Both plants have shown very vigorous root growth, probably the most vigorous I’ve grown. Day 8 and she’s already at the bottom of the cup starting to circle this plant wants to G r o w.
Here is pheno 2, it had a little mishap where it fell off my desk and probably lost a good chunk of its roots , but it’s still as healthy as can be and already showing new root growth, that is after an emergency transplant where I went outside in the rain and scooped up some soil from the backyard with one hand while holding the poor plant in the other 🪴
Unrelated to the challenge, but dayum I wish this was what I was growing for it .
Here’s my alpean Gleux CBD auto flower almost done now, I’m just waiting for the seed to finish !
It was hit with Kullu Landrace male pollen before I chopped the guy ;p
Grow light lighting
Flash and lights out
I wish I’d “manually opposite light depped” for a week to get those roots down into the perlite layer better. Side note, perlite size matters. I sifted, but a rinse would have been good, I guess I underestimated pearlites wicking capabilities. I’ve been snorkeling feed through the metal straw till “run off” out the flap on the side of the perlite layer. Other improvements might be screwing more holes in the side, so many that the cup has like zero structural integrity above the perlite layer and the roots hold it all together lol
If you melt your holes like I do the cup stays strong as the material doesn’t get removed. It melts into portholes.
I kind of thought I wouldn’t need holes, with the cup being almost 1/3 perlite in the bottom.
I didn’t want to use the soldering tip cuz the plants already in it, and a wood screw was right there.
Next time, I have a leather punch with longish arms
How could one solder from the inside to make lil pokeys on the outside like the airpots?
Technicly might be a disqualification, since itd increase cup volume?
For anybody interested, it takes 30-40 ml by straw in the morning by weight of the cup, I haven’t top waterd, but the top is shpongle, so its moist enough for some algae. It’s been a lesson in surface tension so far lol
I took my 4, placed them in a bucket, added solution and yelled at them to **“SHUT UP AND SUCK IT UP!!!”.
1 Hour later I told them they did well drawing that water…
Quick update shot. They got their first full strength sips of water today. Time to party! Also moved a few to more intense light because they wanted to flop. If I didn’t have a plant acting as a wind block right now they’d probably be fine, too. But what does it all mean anyway… goodnight cuppers
Go Pine Tar Kush! Cannot wait to see that Beauty @JustANobody
Great Call !!
Just reading the “1/3 perlite in the btm” comment @breadwinner.
A bit of gravel can do the same thing at the bottom of a pot, but I thought Perlite performed better when evenly mixed throughout substrate; top to btm.
Ideally, pieces-touching creates the drainage channels and makes for moisture availability, throughout.
Not changing anything my Friend, I’ve just not seen a btm-Layer of Perlite
Just a date reminder, I know I forgot.
