No “think” I’ll send you some I “know”. I do make a bunch of mucked up seeds, but so far I’ve been aware of all my mess ups.
Like the time I brought my thai lime back into the greenhouse because it wasn’t doing well in the bathroom. Noticed it was all dusty, and as the breath left my mouth I realized it was pollen and got to watch it waft up and pollinate my entire grow.
Or the time I carefully bag pollinated a branch, then bagged it again to pollinate the rest of the plant, then at seed shucking time mixed that branch in with the rest.
I am so lucky not to be doing this for money, so I can just move on, and so delighted that folks want to grow out some of my errors.
Welp, went over my bean fridge and it looks like I gave the only autos I had to my buddy to run so I might just end up running my own beans for this in the end.
This is called “stoner breeding”. It differentiates like this from traditional or modern breeding, plus a few other things, like strain lineage obfuscation
Hey bud!
I’ve been watching from the sidelines.
I really wanna play with y’all, but I feel that’ll have me to much going on this round.
I’m trying new lighting schedules, rearranging spaces, and popping beans like crazy.
As much as I’m sure I’ll miss participating, I will respectfully decline this invitation.
Y’all can definitely count me as a cheerleader though!
Thx for the heads up man, I miss read the instructions . One of my LED s died on me last night . I ve been on auto pilot since. and bummed out . I ll start another one when we approach March 1st …
Thx man , I ve been setting up old CFL bulbs to keep my seedlings and other plants going . I ll figure something out . I m gonna have to look for a deal or a used one .
Solo individual cloners anyone? You can watch the roots grow, just put a solid color cup over the clear soil cup. If you have a 3D Printer, I can share the STL.
Also, if you have a plant, or plants with spider mites and you want to clone and reset? In individual cloners with the high humidity, those suckers will be dead before you finish the hardening process. Spray them in the begin a little bit just to be sure. With cloning you normally snip off the leaf fingers to reduce vegetation and stimulate root growth, so not much vegetation to remedy.
I fixed someone’s professional-ish cloning operation and helped him keep his generics in the process.
If anyone wants to try them, I can make videos and explain how to use them through the entire process. All growers have their own methodology, so adaptation and sharing is desired. I know they work, few years using them after I designed them.
If anyone wants anything special made in cad to print at home, I enjoy designing. The only catch is if you make money off of the end product. Autodesk will want their cut as they let me use their software for free with the understanding if money is made, I owe licensing of Fusion 360 because they also have families to feed… I will make a thread for this.
