Good show, nicely documented, thanks! :slightly_smiling_face:

The mother I had did not express this trait.
But the crosses i made are showing it.
BTW
Calcium is the fix for those hollow stems.

Thank you gentlemen.

I’ve read the same. I don’t know if calcium would eliminate it completely
I still have the cut, dialage incoming!

Your not kidding he was lost to me for years.
I love that guy but he is a bit cryptic…LOL
I have mentioned his name maybe 100 times in the last years gone by.
I guess I really love the crazy ones. :star_struck:

Haha. A few years back him and Tom Hill were having fun chatting about this stuff. Albrech and Co. Great times :+1:

I’m late to this party, but what the actual FUCK?

Great grow! Have you done any sampling?

Thanks.

I did not sample the outdoors plants since there was some mildew on them. I trashed all but the seeds…

But I have smoked them before. This is my 3 run with these cuts :slightly_smiling_face:

And yes, it’s a beautiful rock eh?

@Mithridate Those hollow stems can be super useful. I was reading a how to guide on making pipes from cannabis trunks and stems.

Good Job @Mithridate lots of work but worth it in the end.

Hollow stems are a sign of efficient nutrient uptake and distribution. Consider the hardiness and tensile strength of bamboo shoots. Hollow stems are less likely to snap in heavy winds, making them attractive for outdoor grows.

Thank you gentlemen.
It was definitely a lot of work. In the end I can say with confidence that there are excellent plants to be found in the f2s I passed around last year. #12 is something special for sure. #1 and #17 dump resin by the shovel.

#12 was the one with the hollow stems.(stems were strong as hell, I thought I’d have to add support, how wrong I was lol)
The frost rails early on, the stretch and quality of resin/high make her the winner out of all sour strawberry I’ve grown…

This is but a step in my sour strawberry journey. I’ll hunt the f3s for extreme phenos and I still have to f2 my other original pack. Somewhere down the line I’ll mate the 2 families.

Looks like the spring box is full, I’ll distribute them myself… 25-50 letters a week or something like that :face_with_monocle:
