I cant seem to find the Dr Bugbee vid that shows is use of Calcim Carbonate in conjunction with Gypsum. I use solution grade gypsum on the off chance its a bit more available to the plants.
I would love to find a updated version of all his amendments he uses at this point and a way to follow any changes they make. I admit I do add a percentage more gypsum than he recommends. And I use Jacks for RO @ about 75% plus less than a gram of Epsom roughly every other feed.

hmmm i dont remember that one. i just remember gypsum.

it should!

they have a paid course.

are you noticing ay deficiencies?

this was the last setup i knew he gave at his course. a user here took some of the lessons. i wish he could share that info with us, but it is prob a sensitive thing to ask…lol.

75% peat, 13% vermiculite, 12% rice hulls, 0.7kg/m3 wetting agent, 1kg/m3 wollastonite, and 1.3kg/m3 hydrated lime.

Epsom does help. I use RO water and that line of Jack’s specifically calls for 1 gram of epsom not sure if other jacks like 321 do or not. I’d be interested in the online thing but for a simple home grower it’s too expensive.

Yeah, epsom is the ‘1’ in 321.

these are the spirit hashplant + terpenados about to be flipped in 2 days (the one in the corner has me nervous… hopefully that def will stop advancing. i corrected ph and feed, not sure what is causing it… cut the leaf to measure/mark progress of the yellowing)

these (seedlings on solos) are Doc D’s (Magic Spirit) sour d x a5 haze + black energy - really excited about these. Have been trying to get my hands on proven sour diesel cross for a while now, plus the black energy photos that ive seen look great.

there is also a bit of smart move and strawberry headband clones

1 gal pots - 7 weeks.

GG4 by Floyd - all citric/earthy/chem covered in snow.

smart moves - smell like lemon, candy, mint, and some bubblegum. i am really scared these will develop bud rot, continuously checking them.

babylon buster - average earthy smell but it has been a nice grower. no fuzz, no bullshit, nice trichome coverage. i was hoping to have some mango or fruit smell from the dreadbread but nope.

strawberry headband - all smell like burnt tires, citric, chem, and then some sweet. its sort of interesting and a bit of alet down. at first two of them smelled super sweet, but that has faded all the way into the back.

dragons milk - i had three dm x bd/bc female. one i had to cull, another one smells earthy and this one with a very fruity/strawberry smell with nice coverage.

What’s the most potent strain you’ve grown ?

@Billybob hey man not sure why i had not seen this.

mm perhaps GG4 overall. there was a pheno in the Goji OG F2 that was also quite strong.

My most potent strain I’ve grown is killer glue. Perfect hybrid

Little chief right ? I had two females of killer glue and.one female of banger glue, but I still preferred the gg4

Yeah little chief . Yeah I had the banger glue as well. I haven’t grow the pure Gg4 yet only crosses
was thinking of getting it from GG genetics

Plants look awesome so far. Any updates on the vegging ones from earlier? They all sound interesting but I’m extra interested in the terpenado since I have a pack of it in the freezer myself :stuck_out_tongue: Wonder what it’s gonna smell like

Bugbee’s vids and Daniel’s site are both a wealth of info. I also like to watch some podcasts with Ramsey and Josh. I’ve learned so much in the past 2 years from just them alone. I always appreciate the people sharing good info. It’s sometimes hard to weed though all the bs lol.

Just got myself a teros 12 hoping to learn more

oh yeah, terpenado got finished a while ago. i just havent updated here much you can see a summarized report of it here

the narration can be a bit misinformed but this time lapse has some of the best angles and shots ive seen in these type of videos.

how the leaves move even ahead of light or darkness and some real nice shots of bud growing (skip around to min 4 or 4:30 to get straight to the most interesting visuals).

These are the most recent ones I’ve listened to. They also recently made a fertilizer company called JR croptech I’ve seen pretty good results with it so far on ig with many grows. Supposedly based on years of tissue tests in lots of different grows around the country. I can’t get it up here in Canada but I try to DIY it best I can with salts.

didnt know what to do with this thread. I am now summarizing my grows here

so ill just start with something random. in the veg tent i have some moonbows, ginger tea, ancient og, & @Floyd’s gg4 - as well as some clones, and doc’s black energy and sourdxa5haze mothers.

For anyone who knows, i would never (if i were rich maybe) put out the required cash for moonbow, they were a very generous gift by a local friend.

At first i hit the veg tent with a light too close. first time i do that, but i wanted to see if i could accelerate their veg time, instead i just stressed them, obviously. Not sure if its a direct consequence from that (or unrelated) but two moonbows developed a visually annoying mutation, although it sorto looks like its clearing out now (i have pushed the light up).

ill be posting some moonbow and ginger tea pics shortly. there are a couple ginger tea plants that have a really nice citric/ginger combo scent.

one thing i noticed is the moonbow have noticeable leaf deformation/mutations.

I tossed a 13 finger male, but no pictures. this one is a 12 finger female prety leaf with a pretty mutation/deformation

The Moonbows and the Gingers have great resin production and very interesting scents BUT they are either very sensitive to light sched interruptions or are very prone to show intersex traits i just spend 40 minutes nipping nanner clusters and in some cases some even looked like full developed sacs. its a shame cus they look the part, ill still have them finish and hopefully the smoke is there with it.
