Nice! They are a vigorous batch of seed! I thought it was chilli pepper seed you where talking about but it was a different member I sent those too. Old stoner brain! Best of luck with those Sativas! I think they’ll grow into trees outside in the right location! Please keep me updated on how they go for you.

thx man… dm in coming

@Budderton, are the lights on 24hrs? I like to give any seed dark time during the germination process so they experience heat cycling caused by the lights heating up the soil. My favorite way is fluorescent tubes(led conversion tubes now for me, but they seem to work pretty well too) placed an inch or two above the soil, 12:12. I also like to keep them with the dome cracked so the soil dries out over the course of a couple days, then lightly water and repeat. Also, when I say dome, I mean takeout container with the clear lid haha. Also some chili seeds just make you wait haha. Good luck!

Yeah, they are doing 24 hr under a clf bulb I use for rooting clones. Thanks for the insight @potpotpot , I’ll try some of your strategies.

The two super hot pepper seeds I just germinated said 20-30 days, but I used a super hot seed starter that was salt Peter and gibberellic acid and they came up in 8 days. Its available on Seeds n Such website. One packet makes a quart of solution.

Personally I’ve never had luck with pepper seeds. I can get them to germinate but then they remain an inch tall for 6 weeks.
When they finally take off, there’s not enough time left in the season to get mature peppers.
What I do now is go to my local garden center in May. They have a great selection of superhots all about 6 inches tall. Some already starting to form pods.
For $5 each I pick up 5 or 6 plants.
By the end of August I have 5 ft bushes with peppers ready to harvest in September.
For me it’s worth the 40 bucks to have so many peppers that I have to give some away.
Last year I dehydrated a bunch and ground them into powder.
I’ll post some pepper plant photos next month when I pick them up.

I recognize those nice seed packs, I like Baker Creek. I put a small order in this year with them , the peppers were from another place figure id try them out some had great germ rates some were 0% but for $15 for 50 seeds each of 14 peppers varieties you cant go wrong really

Those looks like a great mix or peppers I like the high amount of jalapeno types. My favorite jalapenos has been from a company called Page seeds

If anyone wants some seeds from my mild unknown name pepper plant, just say the word and I’ll send some.
They are delicious

Oh man, watch out for those orange spice jalapeños, they can be really hot for a jala. And to add to that, baker creek used to have a bad description for those seeds, and actually said they were milder than most jalas.
Little tidbit from an article about the Numex “spice” jalas.
