What type are those? Look like spicy little buggers!
They would be these from @duo and @Til_Valhalla . It’s my first time growing them.
i only grew one in the veggie garden. picked the arnold one out of the bunch. i actually got 7 of 8 seeds to pop. it was a tough selection as they were all pretty robust seedlings.
the aji amarillo is already taller than most of the other pepper plants (except the cayenne) but it is taking it’s sweet time flowering. i don’t have any peppers on the aji yet.
i have already harvested bells, serranos, thai…
Hot damn, are those the citrons? Sure looks like them!
Niiiiice! They are my favorite pepper I have ever grown, I hope you enjoy them too!
And as a side note, your plants are huge compared to mine! Mine have always been low and wide, I figured it was genetics but I guess not haha. Nice work!
That’s a nice garden @Hashpants I see you are smart on your weeding, does that fabric last more than one season?
Neighbor shared a Cowhorn with me. I saved the seeds, then ate it with pizza. Had a nice flavor and not too hot.
Thanks much ! It’s commercial weed barrier, I’ve never seen any of it rot.
Did I send you any peach Habs? They were open pollinated last season and mine are looking like a Peach Bhut cross.
beautiful.
Awesome ass picking buddy… Best thing ever is home grown… Congratulations friend. U got a tasty garden
Nice fruits of your labor @CADMAN
Very nice harvest man… what are the peppers, Jalapenos and the ones that start turning yellow?? They look a bit like Aji Amarillo.
Best.
Nice pepper @RadioWaves just had this one right before dinner.
I enjoyed the flavor and the heat level is where most folks can enjoy it. I can see why you grow this year after year, appreciate you my friend.
Growing tomatoes makes the wife happy, but next year we will add quite a few different types of peppers as well. Already got a list started, and fresh seeds are dropping on all the pepper sites right now.
Usually I would start a new garden after the summer kills everything. For some reason this pepper plant survived and I let it be in the garden. Then it survived through next summer and became a permanent member. After a few years I figured I should finally try them. Turns out they are delicious. So the past few years I have enjoying them. I am very glad you decided to try them @buck90
Here’s some close ups of one of my first peppers of this season.
Golden 7 pot
They are big this year and hot as hell
I’ve been having fun growing peppers this summer… Pepperoncini, Orange Habanero, Shishito, Tabasco, Thai, Bulgarian Carrot, Ghost.
Think I’ll grow the Tabasco, Shishito, Hab, and Ghost again.
Nice harvest!
I have a Thai pepper plant growing. They grow pointing up. I like the peppers but they are loaded with seeds.
I’ll have to try another.
