Specializing in hot peppers

I just finished slicing and loading the dehydrator with peppers. I was sneezing a bit
Peppers get dehydrated in the garage so i dont gas everyone in the house.

I can build a tolerance for peppers, especially this time of year.
What is insane heat for some is just hot flavor for me. Sometimes i put too much on my food and it hurts. :fire:

I have some Reapers growing now. I started them in a tent and they are tiny, like Barbie size…
Should they be more in direct sunlight? All of my others look great.

Ive only ever grown peppers outside.
I buy greenhouse starts and put them out May/June.
Hot and sunny is best, water, fertilizer and mulch.
Plants coming from an indoor tent to outside need to be gradually acclimatized to full sun. :sun_with_face:
If you are living where it’s warm all the time and no frost… lucky you.

Hey, all! I’m just getting into growing plants other than weed, and I was wondering if peppers was a good place to start. I would be growing indoors in my flower room in Fox Farms ocean forest with Dr Earth fertilizer. I’ve tried years ago and only got a couple of peppers per plant and that’s not worth it for me lol. I see how many you all are getting and I’m just wondering if it’s strain dependant or if I should be training them in some way?

Any advice/recommendations including strains to start with would be great. I like spicy, but I don’t want to struggle through it. I like the flavor of habaneros, but it’s way too spicy for me
