And if anyone comes up with a blueberry pheno off that, it’s Blubary from now on!
I can’t make out all the labels but is there anything labelled HP or NHP or hashplant in those crosses?
I will check out that link in the first post.
Seeds arrived today @Scarlyle , I appreciate you sharing and will keep a record here, once I get started. I think its going to be a Treasure hunt!
No HP or NHP, sorry.
thanx for the reply
seeing the old marc emery catalogues sure brings back memories.
I think I still have a bunch of those from the 90s somewhere in a box in my storage shed LOL
Maybe one day I will rifle thru those boxes and see if I can find those
there is a specific hashplant that not many growers had back in the mid to late 90’s and into 2000 when it seems to have vanished. It was incredible smoke and crosses I made with it were outrageous. One plant in particular, a select 98 Shishkaberry from the original release at emery’s store crossed to that hashplant was some of the best weed I have ever smoked. So in these old collections from BC based breeders intrigue me as I always hope that old hashplant is gonna turn up somewhere. The search goes on hehehe
I must say this is the coolest thing I have seen in a long time. Just wow. I would love to be a part of this @Scarlyle.
Gonna do a bit of researching some of these strains and notes you have assembled and compare to what I have to work with and see if I can come up with something exciting to reproduce and share with you and others.
It just goes to prove that these beans exist in the universe and if more people like scarlyle offer them up to be reproduced just makes this world a better place. Free the weed my friend.
Looks like I got some work to do after my open pollination run.
one pack got taken out by the tape. Jordan D?
That would be cool if you did. I don’t remember the catalogs. I visited the shop in London Ontario ran by Chris Clay and remember looking through the photo albums of the strains through the various stages. Still have some of those genetics though they are watered down now. If I only knew back then what I do now.
oh boy… you and me both brother.
Sorry, about that. Now I’m taping them on the back of the flips. It is a G. When I saw your post about loving Blueberry I substituted one of those with E. @Rhai88
I appreciate that brother! I will try to do em justice and keep you posted when I get to them. Seeing as how this seems like it will be an OG adventure… I’ll definitely give some love to these once this next run is completed!
I thank you for sharing with us!
PM your info and I’ll send some.
So from what I see in his notes the Joker c will probably be bubleberry x nl x bubbleberry as it the only berry strain they have and I like that he circled joker C twice and wrote good.
That is amazing!!
Old seeds.
I was reading a little the thread and is very interesting. Also the Spencer notes… he was saving grow logs twenty years ago.
Nice.
I like seeing the seeds in film canisters. I used to do that also, but they’re all gone by now. It was all seed from brick weed mostly, not fancy stuff like this. Following along.
Great thread to start…right on
This will be GREAT!!!
very nice but not the one I’m seeking.
If you look at the plant low and in the center, the one with the super wide and very spaced out serrations… that is the hashplant I seek. It is a dwarf type, not a big yielder and maintains it’s fat leaves through it’s life cycle, even the bud leaves. Also finished in 49 days of 12/12
This looks interesting I’ll sit on the sidelines with a joint or two…
Good luck with the colab I’m sure the OG fam can make magic
