Spraying Colloidal Silver

I tried 3 different CS products from Amazon and none of them worked to reverse a Bruce Banner Auto. I then made my own STS and successfully reversed a Critical Mass Photo and its dropping pollen now. (Yay). Just made some CS for my next Bruce Banner Auto run. I will likely give it a double whammy of CS twice a day and STS every 4 or 5 days.
Anyone tried this?

I got this from Amazon.ca for $25.95

Mixed it 1 part SC 10 parts Distilled water (must be distilled OR Reverse Osmosis water) = 50ppm target.

Been hitting my fem plant twice a day and I’ve just started seeing balls. I’ve never used this brand before, but it seems to be working so far…

If this works out, I’ve got a lifetime supple from this bottle.

This specific brand was recommended to me by @SmknCanuck

I’ve been reading about CS. I’m gonna try this. I have pre mixed 100ppm CS, will dilute 1:1 and use a mild non bacterial dish soap as surfactant. Will start spraying autos when they’re 5" tall once a day for at least 21 days. Any tips or corrections?
@Mr.Sparkle got the first batch curing, the second batch has about 14 days left. The third batch is about 10 days old and Cinder Evil will be sprayed to hopefully get pollen. You got me hooked on autos, Thank you so much.

Wait till you see pistils before spraying is the obvious suggestion. Once you start spraying the plant that will be reversed is when I’d start the new seeds that you want to pollinate. With autoflowers correct timing is critical. Good luck :v:

Yeah I wait till about then typically 2.5-3weeks plus to start spraying then ideally run the mother’s after by about 2 weeks, and can spray till you start to see pollen sacs

Typically takes 2 weeks to reverse a plant I’ve found. Never tried an autoflower though if I’m honest

OK, thanks for the replies. Waiting for the pistils, should see them in the next week. gonna get the mothers to be in water in the next couple days.

haven’t tried reversing anything yet. curious if y’all think this product will work?

part 2 of the question is - can this product be cut with distilled water to dilute the solution?

It’ll work fine but your gonna need way more than 60ml buddy.
You need to spray almost daily from when you first see pistils for 2 to 3 weeks until you see sacs.

I wouldnt dilute that either, infact you’ll likely need something stronger 500ppm is what I’ve seen recommend.

:v:

i was under the impression you only spray the part(s) you want to reverse.
are you saying you must spray the entire plant?
(not arguing, just asking for clarity - i have never done this before)

if i need more, would it be wise to just bite the bullet and do STS instead? seems to me more people uses STS than CS.

oh sh^t. i was thinking this was too strong. i thought 50ppm was the cutoff.

You can spray a single branch so that the plant can pollinate itself but 60ml is not enough to do daily spraying for up to 3 weeks buddy. I usually generate my own colloidal silver when making seeds. I spray an entire plant but it’s usually a really small plant grew it a 1l pot and I’ve seen me use near enough a litre of CS before I seen balls.
I only commented as I don’t want you to waist both your time and a plant for the reversal not to work.

i appreciate the warning.
running out of reversal juice mid-stream ~would~ be a waste on many levels.

do you exclusively use CS, or have you also used STS?
do either have any advantage in success rate as opposed to the other?

I’ve only used CS.
STS is one or two applications but the chemicals involved are a bit of a worry for me personally.
I’m sure there are pre made commercial products for reversing plants.

ok. cool. appreciate you letting me pick your brain.

there seems to be two camps. CS and STS. both work. neither camp usually switches.

i figured i would start with CS as it is readily available and i don’t need to do any mixing or special storage.
