Ok, so I lined them up shortest to tallest (except the SSDD F2 bx1 x (OG Chem x CJ)). Hopefully you can see the labels on the cups. Sorry for the horrible backdrop. I didn’t really have anything solid in that room.
I’m thinking Magnesium, but not sure. I have added CaliMagic (1 tsp/ gal) the last two waterings. Also added dolomite lime and worm castings scratched in to the soil surface. May do an epsom foliar spray tonight. These are in the same recycled and reamended soil I always use.
Hmm yeah could definitely be magnesium deficiency. A lot of the SSDD line are heavy feeders like that. That leaf crinkle on the left bx1 and mainly the bx1(ogc x cj) is from the ssdd mom.
I topped them to the third node (or second for a couple of the taller ones) and removed the lower nodes. That let me get rid of the problem leaves and observe the new growth for deficiencies. I’ll remove the older third node fan leaves in a couple days. Then, in a couple weeks I’ll top the side growth again for a sort of mainline. Kind of making it up as I go. I’ll try to get clones the next time I top.
#1-3 Triple Sunshine A x SSDD #4-7 SSDD F2 #8-9 SSDD F2 bx1 #10-11 SSDD F2 bx1 x (OG Chem x Casey Jones)
Some pre flowers. The only one I’m sure of is #6. It’s female. That’s the one with the thinnest leaves @syzygy I think you said that was the one you liked.
Did a little tying down. I didn’t do the x (OGC xCJ) because I ran out of clips. I think they might both be male anyway.
Not sure what the best course of action is from here, but I might flip next week. Or I’ll pot them up next week and flip the week after. I took cuttings of all, but I don’t know if I’ll be able to get them to root.
As much as I’d like to have “the one” male, I’m inclined just to chop the males because I know how low the odds are, I am terrible with smells so I’d probably not be able to identify him correctly, and I don’t feel like going through the hassle right now of doing yet another pollination.
Apparently one sign of a TK leaner in a TK cross is wavy stems growing from the nodes after being topped. (Grow out then turn in or up then curve back out, if I got that correct)
So they may need a few more nodes to tell, but they look wavy to me @HolyAngel
