Another option for in or out is autos. I don’t know why I waited so long but started trying autos outside as I’m too far north at 56° for regulars to finish before frost hits. Don’t even start flowering until mid Aug.
First year in 2020 was a gong show with bad genetics but this last summer I grew two of a strain made by a breeder and member here @Urban_Legends called Mazarilla and they did nicely. Under 3’ tall and gave me 6oz each of really nice frosty nugs. Have 3 little ones growing now to spray with STS and make fem seeds of more for a bigger outdoor crop next summer.
I pruned all the big fans off in preparation for cropping the next day. They loved the heat domes last summer not long after planting near the end of June. All done by Sept. 11 and the nights were getting close to freezing a few times by then too.
