Anyone else get abysmal germ rates off Strayfox gear? Scooped a pack off GLG(which Ive used for years with great success) and literally had 0/10 pop.
Before folks come at me, I popped them with 100+ other seeds of various origin, many with 90%+ success at the same time. Seems like just another sub-par breeder. Will not be wasting more money on this pollen chucker

100% germination rate on the afghani windz seeds i popped. thats the only cross of his i’ve popped though so far.
I have gotten good germ rates from strayfox. I have grown 2 different varieties, hp13 bx and hp 95. Which variety were you having issues with?
Smoking Mirrors. I run shameful amounts of Chem91 crosses too. Was hoping he had a good take on it. But the seeds were clearly not properly made or stored at some point. I don’t wanna blame GLG, since Ive popped 100s of seeds from them, and never had an issue until now. I think its just such a basic thing to be expected of breeders. Super disappointed!
I got %100 on care package, and great plants.
but with Wake of the Dragon, all the seeds were pale a few visibly were duds, and none of them germed.
hollywood triangle fem was all pale seeds, got 2 out of 5, both herms.
I also got less than the specified number of seeds on 3 different packs from stray. 6 to 9 seeds in what should have been packs of 11.
after that I started opening the packs as soon as they arrived so I could return them if necessary, but since then they have all looked decent and had the correct number. Only packs with the old smiley face logo were missing seeds.
The hollywood triangle seeds looked subpar but had the correct amount… I gave it a pass because sometimes kush plants produce pale-ish looking seeds even when ripe.
Hopefully I have good luck with the other stray packs in my fridge
I get some really nice plants… but honestly seed quality and getting the number of seeds you paid for has been hit or miss on some packs. I’d like to say it improved but I haven’t grown much of the newer stuff out yet.
Stray is the only breeder where I’ve ever gotten less seeds than the amount promised, from everyone else if it wasn’t exactly the right number of seeds, it was extra. with this inconsistency I wouldn’t consider buying any of his higher priced packs. I only buy the $60 packs when they go on sale.
I don’t want this to come across overly negative, I like some of the stuff he works with and can only get it from him, bodhi or doc d so I appreciate what he has to offer.
I really appreciate the lines he has made that are targeted for specific medical problems like his care package and other ptsd targeted strains. And I really appreciate that he is still working with bodhi’s ethiopian and other ethiopian lines.
Hey buddy I grabbed this one from shoe around 2017/8 and had full germination, incredible line it was super hard to pick a winner, love Ronnie. Not sure what happened to your pack but I’ve never experienced that with strays gear, having said that those could be upwards of a decade old at this point, to maybe leave the fridge and travel thru a heatwave?, going in yeah I can see some germ troubles with anyone’s beans depending on the variables. That’s a super bummer though Smoking Mirrors is a phenomenal line.

Here are two Hashplant 95 plants I have outside. Huge monsters that are flowering relatively early. The 2nd plant has this variegation going on. Not sure where in the lineage this would come from. Probably the stardawg side.

very cool I picked up a pack of the Sterline 95 based on @oleskool830 's recommendation of the i95 for heavyduty pain relief (rip buddy).
Variegated cannabis kind of weirds me out, but those are some realy nice looking outdoor plants. Bet that will be a memorable harvest.
Blueberry Milk coming on week 6, packed with seeds, I also started flowering a couple of their clones. They are pretty stretchy/tall plants.
