can see the blue-purple tint on the bud when it is next to a different type of plant, real well.

I just spent about 7 hours harvesting, washing and hanging 3 giant BBD plants. To celebrate I smoked a couple huge bowls of the previous BBD harvest. You might say I am fully immersed in this cultivar, my arms are sticky and stinky and I love it. They vegged for many months in my slow tent, real monsters. The top colas are truly impressive compared to most other varieties I have grown.

It’s a keeper

@anonymous4289 Just wanted to say, I think what you’ve made here, looks pretty amazing. I am floored by everyone’s pictures, and posts and feedback for you. Everything looks amazing! Anyway. I wanted to commend your work! I was reading through everything and realized that this thread was older than I thought. And also read that these seeds are not available now. That is quite a bummer! Again. Amazing job. It looks and sounds like a real keeper, and right up a lot of people’s alley. Congratulations on your success. :facepunch::purple_heart:

Blueberry Diesel lived up to its name. Been curing around a month now. Big time yielder with very little bud rot. Smells of Blueberry for sure but the Diesel really came through when I was trimming her into jars. Really nice smooth smoke that hits around a 7 outta 10 for strength in getting me high. Very fruity smells come outta the jar when opened. Not quite blueberry now but definitely fruity and very inviting to whoever is lucky enough to smell her. My buddies are already asking me for a cut.

I love that trimming her was not labor intensive as the bud to leaf ratio was fantastic. You’ll be cleaning your trimming scissors often with how sticky this girl can get though. Had me reaching for the alcohol and cotton balls about every 20 minutes. This was the only down side of trimming this one. The whole house smelled of chemically diesel which really pleased me.

Very nice work. I think I need to try adding some teas to the watering regiment and see if that tightens up the buds even more. Extremely resinous and sticky. I think this would make for some great dry sift and will be giving that a go this winter with the trimmings I put into the deep freezer. Can’t wait to see what else you come up with brother!

same. i have some great plans i hope come to fruition. :fire: thanks for the update, i’m glad you enjoyed the blueberry diesel and all it has to offer. :+1:

have you tried to scrape the trimming scissors with a razor blade to collect the scissor hash?

Oh yeah! I don’t throw any of that out. I put it directly into my pipe on top of a bud. Kinda my treat for trimming. I end up stupid high by the end of my trimming session. Just gotta wipe it down with alcohol afterwards.

anyone harvesting their blueberry diesel outdoor? or indoor? how are things going?

i have a question for you guys. which are you liking better, the candy lemon or the pinesol lemon?

I have two plants in jars from outdoor. Will get a decent report when the nose gets home, mine is old and worn out :open_mouth:

I’ve got the pinesol one from an outdoor grow and love it. I’m going to plant the rest of the pack you sent me outdoors after winter. Very excited about this after smoking the pinesol one. Id love to sample the candy pheno of it comes up for me

As much as I do love the really potent lemon phenos coming out of the BBD…

I want to know who besides me has come up with a very sweet pheno?

The fruity/sweet pheno we had here was a super hit so I may be cruising the next round through my bag of F2’s. The F2’s I used to make the BBD F2 x Black Cherry cross were both very sweet smelling. More fruity/artificial fruit candied sweet.

We have a fresh batch of F1’s coming down the pipe here in the next few weeks as well crossed to the good old BBD! Lots of hunting to do…

  • Lemon OG #3 x BBD
  • Lemon Jack x BBD
  • (Afghan x pcb) x (kushmints x pcb) x BBD
  • Golden Sunset #1 x BBD
  • (Coastal Blueberry x Bog Sour grape) x BBD

2023 is the year of BBD officially. lol

Agreed, I grew nine BBDs and gave away at least 10. Looking forward to trying to cross it myself. I just took a lot of the dry rack and I am in some serious trim jail as I was already way way backed up before this load in the picture. After I get some trimmed I will post quality photos from a camera and not a phone.

I busted out the SLR camera and took a bunch of photos after trim jail. After processing and playing with the photos I realized I had my camera on shit settings the whole time. After putting the camera away for a few months i had to re learn everything. So maybe I will do another photo shoot but for now this is what you get. Pretty much fully cured because I took so long to get to the trimming. I didn’t take photos of all the whole harvest, these are just the larger pieces, mostly tops. The middles and lowers still produced dense nugs.
