THC percentages at MI dispensaries

Same…i had come to the same conclusion from my personal anecdotal experiences and from researching phytocannabinoid pharmacology extensively…thats why i didnt quite understand the enchanting individual who claimed that all that was irrelevant and the effects varied based on enzymes alone…

I can say cbd products work much better with a little rso in them. I’d consider rso full spectrum

That does happen but once word gets around to other testing facilities that do things correctly, they rat them out. So it’s an ongoing problem that often is taken care of, but new testing facilities can come up.

You nailed it on the length of high. I’ve only smoked weed from a dispo a couple times. Was not impressed. Got friends in them all the time. They go through so much weed and $." I asked why’d they quit growing. "Dispo is cheaper.” Cheaper? No…you got too lazy for outside work, and you weren’t diplomatic with the missus about a tent. Right? “Well…”

The tent is easy to get. Just do a comparison of how much a tent and needed accessories is and how much is spent at the dispensary

Oh I’m good @Emeraldgreen . I’m over trying to convince anyone of anything using words. I’ll let them flap gums at their wives. I give someone a nug once in awhile. A couple refuse to believe I grew it.

It truly baffles me how people assume dispensary weed is better than homegrown automatically. I hear you on the trying to convince people though

I think there has to be so much thc then it all blends to produce effects but without it,like hemp, I don’t think you would get a high. There is more to it than thc but I would say it revolves around it but higher thc numbers don’t necessarily mean it’s better.

I have an opinion on this. I know, I know… opinions are like assholes…

So THC is considered the active ingredient in cannabis, but I think it’s just the carrier wave. I think THC is the main cannabinoid, of course, but feel like the other cannabinoids (the ones nobody knows the name of or that haven’t been named) control how the high affects you. And the high you get depends on the relative concentration of those other cannabinoids.

I’ve heard terpenes do that. Maybe they do, but I don’t think their contribution is as important as the cannabinoids we bred out of pot in our singleminded pursuit of high THC concentrations.

I spent $70 all-in for the 4x4 I’m using now. You can do it on the cheap. It has plastic zippers and all that, but it gets the job done.

Once you start comparing buying versus growing it’s always better to grow your own. You also have complete knowledge of what happens with your flower

Before I grew my own, I coughed up tons of black crap. I’m chronic, still cough plenty, but it’s not the stuff that scares me.

NOW THAT RIGHT THURR IS AN EMPIRICALLY VERIFIABLE ASSHOLE!-I mean opinion! You nailed it THC is a psychoactive compound thatll definitely get you high on its own(i.e. THC isolate crystalline) but the varying combinations of concentrations of THC, non-primary cannabinoids(CBG, THCV, THCA, etc) and terpenes-called cannabinoid profiles-are what give each individual strain and sample its noticeably unique effects…some simply modulate the effects of THC, some are mildly psychoactive on their own and combine their effects with THC. The only thing I’d disagree with a little is the role of terpenes…i think they deserve a little bit more credit because around here there are THC distillate vapes where they add only terpenes and no other cannabinoids and the resulting effect is as equally different than pure THC as when other phytocannabinoids and terpenes are combined with pure THC.

The laziness is what killed me after awhile i was being nice and gave out tons of cuts in what i had but after awhile those people pretty much want you to almost grow thier shit for them and every 3 months they want to hit you up for cuttings again and run you through the same shit And they disappear till they run out of weed and hit you up last min for a clone and you tell them it takes like 2 weeks sometimes to get a cut to root and they don’t understand i even hand walked some through how to take cuts and they dont give a fuck they just want cuts even giving them rooting powder grodan blocks already phed you name it.I juts started giving those people seeds and telling them to dig like i had to shit they might even find something better than what i gave them. They dissapear again at the sight of work.I dont deal with them peoples no more heres some seeds go find your own shit lol

if anything needs filed it’s for weight from co dispensary weed. i weighed some of that when we were there and it was like half or less of what it should’ve been. i get some every now and then here that’s off and i write it down on the label and take a picture of it.

People sometimes ask me how much it costs to get started and I say that’s the wrong question the right question is how much money do you spend on weed n a month. My ROI is disgusting.

I’d really track that and complain to the state. I’m working in the ny rec market. In this market shelf ready products are sold to dispensary. My boss and I were packing 1/8 in the beginning and read a review about a light 1/8. We looked at each other and said that can never be us! Every 1/8 we pack is heavy just so no one ever gets home and it’s short

it’s not so much that it didn’t weigh starting out but it dries out during storage. at least that’s what i was told in co, but everything is bone dry out there. here in wv i’m not sure at all since one strain is so light an airy that i put out a whole jar and it didn’t weigh anything on my digital scale. i recall that i had a friend who sold weed who always told folks who complained about the weight that he sold it by the bag not by the gram. dispensaries should be better than the guy down the street. not sure how you would prove any of it except to weigh it, mark it, and then take it and let someone verify. maybe i will inquire about the process. thanx for the tip.

That is exactly the point. When we weigh it out it’s 3.8-4 grams to cover the drying out. I have to say as it’s goes more legal all this stupidity has to go. If it doesn’t weigh what it says irs it’s a problem they need to address. Your butcher can’t sell you a pound of meat that really weighs 14 oz can he?
I wish the person who complained about the weight had said what farm honestly. The dispensary is basically just a weed version of a liquor store.

I don’t wanna buy light weed either but pretty much every commercial product is +/- 10% tolerance.
