Transplanted the Jawlato, honestly was expecting better roots hardly any showing at all only a few on the sides none at the bottom yet. Am just waiting on the last ufs18 to finish drying then its cleaning /moving the cuts in and dropping the autos.
The autos I have im pretty excited about not going to even try n hide it they are ghost rose fem autos from @ReikoX , and a cpl fog dog fem autos I got from @corey. Hopefully these will be germed in the next day or so.
Also added a small fan to try n harden the Jawlato up a bit have some real wonky leaves starting to grow in on her, I’m just loving the whole process it’s fasinating to me
Both fog dog’s have popped, along w 4 of the ghost rose so far off to a very nice start. This run we are using roots organic 707 soil and putting them straight into 5 gallon pots, going to run the light at 20/4 . Transplanting the ak cut into a 1.5 gallon like the Jawlato and moving the cuts in the closet
Had to run out n get more 5 gallon pots earlier, mean while two more ghost rose popped . So far we’ve got the 2 fog dog and first 4 ghost rose in the soil, also grabbed some vermiculite added that to help with drainage as well as add some silica naturally
Vermiculite holds water, perlite is more for drainage, though vermiculite will loosen up heavier soils for sure. I shoot for roughly 25% - 30% perlite in my mixes (heavier organic soil I start with). No vermiculite or it would be too wet…
So far 3 Ghost Rose are up above soil along w one fog dog that looks like it just popped up should be open tonight.
Moved the cuts into the closet, the Jawlato looks like it’s having some transplant issues on the leaves it’s that or the soil is to hot. It wasn’t the most graceful transplant so I’m leaning towards that hoping it corrects itself, the leaves are growing all swirly like it’s pretty trippy they are starting to look more regular tho
All the seedling are up have the 2 fog dog’s in
5 gallon pots then have 6 of the ghost rose in 5 gallons the remaining 2 ghost rose are in smaller pots just in case some of the ones in the bigger pots don’t make it. The Jawlato seems to be recovering from transplant shock the newer growth is looking healthy
Day 6 since all seeds have popped up above soil, just going to start them all on the same day even tho a cpl are a day ahead, the ghost rose are chugging right along, one fog dog looks a little behind just going to see wat happens looks healthy just not growing as fast as the other one, (fog dog’s second row in from the top) the smaller one is in the black pot I’m hopeful it’s going to take off soon it actually was up before the other one too, we will just have to wait and see
The cuts are also in the closet the Jawlato has a few real looking leaves on her , I ended up removing the leaves w leaf scorch from transplant shock only cus they were blocking some of the newer growth. The ak isn’t to far behind expecting her to take off in the next week or so, the SD is starting to pick up as well growing upward w lots of revegging leaves, the ufs18 is real slow hoping it picks up at some point barely has any reveg looking leaves idk it’s just doing its own thing
We sure did the 3 black pots are a bit bigger at 5.5 gallon, just going to see how it goes, have two back up ghost rose in the white containers up front, one of the fog dog isn’t growing much might swap that one out for a ghost rose
Day 8 so far the ghost rose are looking good, they do look a bit yellow not sure why? They seem to be growing at a good rate however, still have that one fog dog that seems to be stalled lil bummed about that wat can you do tho, will give it a little bit and see how the progress goes will swap it w one of the two ghost rose in the smaller pots if needed.
Day 12, so far these are growing fast and strong, gave them a lil recharge w the watering the other day. Added a purple dot next to all the ghost rose, and a green dot next to the fog dog. Also all 4 cuts are officially in reveg, the Jawlato and ak are ahead just glad the ufs18 made it the smaller ones should catch up soon enough I hope at least
I’ve been collecting the keif from our grinders for awhile now. Today I turned it into hash using a few simple things around the house, some parchment paper, a mason jar, some boiling water, and a pot holder. Placed the keif in the parchment paper trimmed it to size filled the mason jar w the boiled water rolled it on the parchment paper for 10 mins, then put it in the freezer for an hr. Was pleasantly surprised at how it turned out, only did about half of it will do the rest tomorrow
