The Canadian Contingent (Part 1)

What are you planning on using the pollen on?
I have Bodhi Cobra Lips pollen from two nice males.

if anyone near Mississauga is looking for a dehumidifier I found some really nice refurbished units.

I just picked one up today seems to be working great so far! This is the actual unit https://www.shopsmartcanada.com/products/royal-sovereign-52-l-110-pint-commercial-dehumidifier?currency=CAD&variant=42216504393879&utm_medium=cpc&utm_source=google&utm_campaign=Google%20Shopping&rjpwholesale.com&cmp_id=17381998533&adg_id=&kwd=&device=c&gclid=CjwKCAjw0dKXBhBPEiwA2bmObUB29AONFTrV6kRLnJEPUSPl_ZT3viz3bOyGhTnY8qA_gpbgwdVGuBoCoRgQAvD_BwE

I thought there was something wrong with me and it took a minute to figure it out.

It’s not in a bag?

That would be even more brilliant than bagged milk. Much easier to get out the last bits. Like rolling the toothpaste.

Mrs Foreigner uses a rubber scraper which just makes a big mess everywhere and is more trouble than it’s worth.

I thought my language circuits weren’t working :joy:

One thing I really hate about peanut butter is trying to clean the jar for recycling. That shit is hard to get out.
I can’t talk to you anymore…I just got chastised for us having 3 posts in a row all to ourselves!

This is an ongoing battle here. How much potable water does it take to clean vs the relative value of recycling the jar?

Her and I have different valuations.

Oh, ok, conversation terminated.

This is so very true. And hot water works better…but seriously?

We need “covert” likes.

Hot water, squirt of dish soap, and using those arms to shake the crap out of the jar, about 1/2 to 3/4’s worth a container of water, you know assuming the vigorous shaking and soap action doesn’t pressurize the jar and make it go everywhere.

Then its many many more containers worth of water.

Leave the jar tied up outside overnight.

The trick is using a rubber spatula.

Hey there fellow Canadians, here is a link to the 2022 Canadian Fall box thread. You can use this to keep an eye on the progress of the next box which we are looking to send out in October.

Hey there fellow Canadians!

Is there anyone currently living in the Bruce Peninsula that knows of cheap housing/apartments for rent in the region/area?

I’m just throwing this out there now, because I’m not desperate yet! It wouldn’t take much for me to get there though. The situation I’m currently in is volatile and day to day. :pensive:

Thanks for any help and/or suggestions. :relieved:

PS: Yes, there is an application in process with/through the region for housing.
Keeping options open, as was “recommended”. :woman_shrugging:t3:

Dam snow birds should stay home like the rest of us see how they like the snow and forty below weather.

I really have to giggle when they return early and do ice landings on the sloughs. Serves them right for spending the winters down south to have some crash landings .

Yeah… Cobra Chicken curling… :+1:

I love how they come out of the ‘landing’ honking and carrying on like it was someone else’s fault they went all ‘ass over tea kettle’ down the ice…

Really, it’s amazing they can make it all work with a brain the size of a hazel nut… :exploding_head:

Note that I said eh so that we’re still on topic :joy:

We call them “Cobra Chickens” or “Murder Swans” thank you very much and it’s a hobby to watch them chase off the tourists.
