Interesting……
Was -8 this morning turning sunny and 2 this afternoon.
Got paid to watch them dock the HMCS Fredricton (FFH 337) on the Syncrolift that we cleaned off two days ago this morning .
Found out that Elide Fire balls are available in Canada again since they got a new distributor:
Always thought they would be a good idea until I saw the price tag…those things probably cost a dollar to make. I get it, one fire and they are worth it, but why is the price of safety such a goddamn gouge?
Hit 12 degrees where im at yeaterday and we have barely got any snow left and i live in ontario ski area. All the ski clubs are in big panic mode.
I just got home and it’s -12 here in the Edmonton area.
6 and sunny here, shoveling snow in a t-shirt
I’ll take this weather all day up here in the Canada’s
I’m not far behind you at 4 here.
Same chore too. Cuttin blocks on the garage roof.
Come on springtime!!
Im jealous
If you are in the GTA I recommend this person:
She has the European Nightcrawlers as well as Red Wigglers. I’m running Red Wigglers. I researched the African Nightcrawlers but what I found suggested that they might be… ‘difficult to contain’ and as my 1st bin is in the kitchen… that was a ‘non starter’!
I see the prices are higher than I recalled spending… but it was pre Covid…
Cheers

Ab. I found a place in BC that will ship free. Probly go with them.
Went to Canadian tire the other day to look at fish bait. Had large Canadian dew worms and smaller trout worms. Larger than red wigglers. So I bought a sack. Looks like the may be small dew worms. Kind of have a flat tail.
I put them in a bucket with straw and peat. Not sure if they will grow or not. I hear they are not easy to raise. And I sure as hell don’t want them to get out into my lawn. Haha
Hit 10c here today, shoveled in a t-shirt .
Well, not snowin here today but they be callin for a Nor’easter with 20cm to 30cm on Tuesday here in Bluenose .
Just saw the alert. And roads not fully opened up here from the last one yet.
I hope they be wrong because plowing snow in a goatpath gives you no place to put the snow.
