The Canadian Contingent (Part 2)

Don’t sound unfamiliar to me at all … lol

Costco 4kg bags @ $1.23 a kg is the best price I’ve found.

use to do the 20kg bags way back put typically never really see it under $2 a kg, except say at shoppers when they are doing a clean out

I used to go to a commercial bakery supply. They wouldn’t have exotic stuff but they had pretty much everything dirt cheap.

Don’t really make sense to me

Forgot to post what I came here to post…lol.
I’ve been searching around for weird stuff online lately…micro dosing stuff…and it seems we have almost every drug available to us on the open web. It’s kind of crazy…lol. Clearly black market goods just on seemingly legit websites…lol…pay etransfer, cc or crypto…lol.

Right now I’m just using the classic 8 turbo yeast, sugar and I throw in a cup of something like lentils, cornmeal, oats or what I have in the cupboards .
I’ll distill it twice , I keep only the part of the run that tastes good .
I use some of the still spirits flavorings .
Works for me , I haven’t had to throw any out lol
When I get the reflux setup on the next still I’ll make some 94% for tincture , I can get to about 80% on the current rig.

I was only ever able to make good rum. My whiskey never turned out so well. And I’ve never refluxed anything. I don’t drink anymore so it’s moot but it was a fun hobby while it lasted.

Since I’m here anyway: we hosted thanksgiving this year. We bought all sorts of shit including cream in a shudder carton. And this is the result

The tab broke. I had to cut the whole thing off. And it was curdled.

Well, you learnt a lesson , buy a bag.

This happens often with those. I use the 18% cream and I bet 1 of 5 ends up snapping off like that, then the knife comes out. :persevere:

No it’s because of my super strength from all the working out I do. My milk bag is a temple.

Believe me I would. I don’t think they sell cream in bags.

I bought an older version of one of these for use as a mini beer fridge , cost was 45$

Cream does come in bags lol

I’ve seen the 20L bags for like at the Hortons but never at the grocery store. Granted I rarely buy cream so I didn’t look very hard.
