So this spring/early summer I wanna walk around the city and toss seeds around. This was the best bulk deal for hemp I could find…does anyone know of a place that sells for possibly cheaper?..or maybe sell by the kilo rather than small packs.

You do know the USDA zones have changed right? Quails moved into my neighborhood from down south.

At least Canada has the potential to survive some climatic shifts, unlike places like India. When one of the biggest populations in the world is forced to leave entire regions because of heat and drought issues, then the shits really going to pop off.

Does anyone have experience shipping cuts in the winter? I am in alberta and looking to have some cuts from a friend in nova scotia sent out. What sort of precautions and safety measures would you recommend to ensure success? Really dont want to wait for spring

A climate shift, which has happened before, would actually be good for Canada with regards to being able to grow more food that we can’t currently. You know, if we are looking at the bright side.

Should have shipped last week or now. Temps are nice. Other than that put some ice packs in with them. Not froze though. But room temp. Express post. Should be 2 days. Do it on a Monday.
Whacha got lined up for cuts?

We have access to lots of natural resources that would benefit as well, like various mining projects going on in the Arctic.

Really though, while canada could withstand and even benefit from some climatic change there are big issues. Our natural biodiversity is suited for our climate and even shifts of temperature by a few degrees either way could upset that balance.

Climatic shift has happened before, with notable things like the little ice age or various periods of global warming. And those were almost always the initial changes that precipitated periods of major social change because of the upheaval of established processes. Its really interesting to see where this will go for humanity.

Edit: the deal just was suggested yesterday, so i am dealing with the present conditions. Are you saying to have room temp ice packs to retain heat and keep things in good condition? The cuts would be an old skunk #1 and a 94 nl x 97 skunk #1. Not sure if the same skunk, or which nl

I sent a cutting to ontario from bc using express post in febuary. No precautions were taken for temperatures and the clone trade was a success.

Are you applying for the first time or renewing? It’s crazy how easy it is to get the license…lol…4 plants is laughable now

It doesn’t matter, as long as your prescription was received before your old one expired then you can legally just keep going. That is section 314-2 of the Cannabis act. I sent mine in 4 months ago and still nothing. What I do is call each renewal to verify they have my documents and then just keep moving as I am legal. Their number is 1-866-337-7705 if you want to verify they have your package.

"Application to renew registration

  • 314 (1) To renew a registration, the registered person, or an adult who is responsible for them, must
    • (a) submit an application to the Minister that includes the registration number and the information and documents required under subsections 312(2) to (7); and
    • (b) ensure that a new medical document is sent to the Minister.
      Extension of registration
      (2) If the Minister has received an application and medical document under subsection (1) but has not notified the applicant of the Minister’s decision in respect of the application before the current registration expires, the registration remains valid until the Minister notifies the applicant — and, in the case of a refusal to renew the registration, the designated person, if any — of the decision."

I’ve been waiting over 4 months myself. It’s strange for a renewal. It usually only took about 6 weeks
