I forget now who grew them, but they are legit. I’m guessing they are cryptic repro but haven’t grown them myself to see. Would be awesome if they are different. Good to get them either way.
It’s a little early for me to be certain, but I think my little Oaxacan is a boy. Trying figure out where I can keep him He’s been looking much happier lately.
What do you think, anyone think I should make some Goji x Oaxacan beans?
Yes. Yes you should.
Looking good.
It would be a shame to waste all that pollen! I think you are right, that one’s a boy.
Yea, I knew this might happen, he might need to post up in my living room for a while.
What kind of timeframe should I expect for pollen to develop?
I’m accustomed to 3-4 weeks for the typical hybrids that I run. Should I expect longer for the Oaxacan?
Perhaps @JohnnyPotseed might be able to use a little pollen…
He has some ongoing projects.
Cheers
G
I would definitely take some pollen cuz lol IF it were ‘purple pheno typical’ That’s all I need for any time soon. But thnx for thinking about me here!
That look very familar to me. If its the same sort thats a really good oaxaca type. Do you have more info on them please @catapult .
He comes from a pack gifted by @Upstate and I believe is a preservation of Cryptic Labs work.
I just popped a few this round to see how they’d do in my soil. He was the lone survivor.
@catapult
Save some.for.me…I’m running oaxacan outside in Oklahoma …weather things could happen in Oklahoma that I don’t expect.
I popped that pack you gave me had 5 pop and 5 that didn’t ,I put them duds in a corner of a pot I can’t miss and is in my line of sight incase .I’m noticing some fatter shorter leaves and one with thinner leaves that’s more yellow despite having the same thing all the other ones have same water everythingAnd a Dwarf I always have a Dwarf pop up now.All doing really good I have light adjusted well now holy crap these guys have more stretch than stretch armstrong .What type of feeders are they? What type of males did you find the most helpful?Really appreciate the input these little guys are very fun and fiesty off the bat I’m a winner if i get males or females im having a good gut feeling I’m going to have a chance at both with the numbers I’ve been seeing with my new seed planting and germing techniques that boosted my success rates.Awesome plants btw
I’ve smoked both Her Majesty and HMBB but not this combination. I really liked Her Majesty for the warm mellow up sativa high and hope it shines through on this cross. HMBB is a great smoke, for me it was more like the drunken stupor that some sativas are capable of producing. Very strong and long lasting.
This girl pictured has been in flower for only 1 week and is the seed plant. I’ll post some updates as/if things get interesting.
Thanks for the info. I knew about her as First Lady but wasn’t around when OD was offering seeds. Thanks for doing the research
Tried both her parents, but not the results of her pairing. She is about 7 days into flower. I’ll let y’all know how she progresses.
2-3 weeks after the little clusters begin forming.
They are light feeders. Use a soil 33-50% as strong as normal hybrid soil using compost and or castings blended with lots of perlite for feeding. Use garden soil/ perlite mixed with strong soil to weaken the strong soil.
There should be a more thorough answer up above somewhere. There are lots of ways to grow these. @Papalag is using miracle grow type ferts and the plants are responding well. Seems like these plants can be happy in many setups…just go very easy on ferts, especially nitrogen ( use 30% of normal and adjust up if needed…I use castings for N)
Hi there here’s a pic at about 4 weeks from seed
1 of the taller is a female awaiting on the other 2 to decide
Very lanky and fast growing!
I’ve only feed once jacks 20/20/20 at 180 ppms
Soil is pro mix BX with perlite only
44 days since first sign of flower on the Natural girl.
This is a lovely plant…the flowers are amazing to watch…there is a touch of frost coming now and the pistils are getting wispy, very Sativa looking with the nice narrow leaves
Proper narrow leaves on that Panama. Looking great!
That Bahia look like it wants to be a
