I’m thinking till up a spot that’s about 2-3 feet wide by 1.5 feet deep (that’s 60cm-90cm by 45cm deep, for those of y’all who haven’t put a man on the Moon…just kidding). I know just the place to do it, too. I have access to a piece of property that’s very low-lying and has nice alluvial soil. I can’t be out there every day, so I need a place where I won’t have to water them. Keeping plants watered here is a major concern, since our UV index can be 11+ for days or weeks at a time. Maybe next year.
I harvested the buds a few weeks ago…ie. Flower week 16
It would have went longer I’m sure…but I didn’t have no weed so I picked the buds from the canopy.
Just under a ounce when dried…lovely mellow smoke, and even though it wasn’t cured, got a nice hit, and a few munchie moments.
Felt a wee bit guilty pulling her early …but we all been there.
When I next grow it I will veg longer than 6 weeks.

I hear you there. No doubt we’ve all been there. Got to do what you got to do. Main thing is we have now found out that it is indeed a pure sativa and we have you to thank for that. How’s the flavor and smell ?
I will grow them again as I still have some seeds…it the buds did have some resin and were sticky when I plucked them.
There was a citrus smell from them…smoked a we bit rough…but that’s down to not curing…ye we will go with that one again.
Definitely not a big yielder …but I will grow it different next time. I enjoyed growing her…and thanks to @Abbbian for the seed sourcing.

Damn these little darlings are growing in so evenly!
Jalisco Landrace - Day 10 (since hitting water)
Nice, looks like the army of Pancho Villa …
It seems that kind of uniformity is indicative of good genetics. Planting seeds and knowing what’s going to grow is a nice change, I’m sure.
Hay guys check out my Oax at 80 days from flip
@Upstate
Trichomes look kinda amber at spots
They can’t stand up straight in the tent
Getting close! Usually the older flowers will be past peak while youngest flowers are just reaching peak. How is the ratio of old/ new calyxes?
No doubt it’s finished in all those photos you took. Looks like a good mix of old and new resin. I recommend chopping the whole plant so it doesn’t dry too fast. When the leaves are beginning to feel dry to the touch but before resin goes flying upon a branch being touched is when I typically strip it. An eighth inch diameter Branch will still Bend at this point rather than break. Definitely don’t let it go too long or you will lose all your resin. I have made that mistake. The resin glands on this one can pop off easily . I highly highly recommend doing your work over a glass table top or some other table top where you can collect the resin easily when you are done. It’s some prime stuff!
Now that I have picked some of this Oaxaca on The Late side I can tell you that some plants become more psychedelic with age. Some of these more psychedelic plants lose that slightly Speedy Edge I really enjoy when they go that long, While others seem to keep it even with Amber resin. I don’t think Speedy is the right word. Energetic is a better word. Motivational
That is one crazy beady forest! I was zooming in and looking how many calyxes there are. Amazing! That’s the highest yielding single bead pheno grow I’ve ever seen . Do you have the incense smell?
Slight bad news. Found one of my older from-clone plants riddled with new spidermite damage, and chopped it immediately. Checked the nearby pearl-pheno oaxacans until I found one mite — decided to chop them too. Took some pics before hitting the trashbag
I still have a half-tent of Bodhi genetics, Upstates Oaxacan PS, and some Crybaby genetics — all untouched
I’ll tell you what though… no new seeds pops for me until this flower cycle is over. @Upstate your Oaxacans have priority, so I’ll finish them out. But past that, if I see anymore of these bastards I’m taking an hiatus Fuck these borg fuckers
Oh no, beautiful oldschool Planties, aaaah, we wanna live
@lambchopedd Sorry to hear of your borg woes. I had a mess of them outdoors last year and was able to keep them in check until harvest, but indoors is a whole other issue. That’s really sad.
Hermosas! Those are going to be monsters …
@lambchopedd, I feel your pain , sometimes you have to do a sacrifice but if that means the Borg disappearing it may be a reasonable price to pay for your tranquility …
A very heavy incense smell indeed
I’ll say 80 inches.( possibly a serious understatement) Anyone else care to guess?
