The Purple Passion Project, An Introduction CLOSED

Wow, what an impressive project!
I wish the whole PPP-crew all the endurance and good luck needed for such a multi-year grow operation.
Curious to see what you are going to show here :star_struck:
Greetings

Lol @Flex420 you’ve actually just illustrated a hiccup in this project:
Thanks to @DougDawson I can’t see PPP without my brain translating it to Paonia Purple Paralyzer…
:rofl::joy::sweat_smile:
This is going to be a problem for many folks based on how many of those beans and pollen packs went out! Just gonna have to call this one by it’s full name at all times. :bear::stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

That was such a grand introduction I thought I had missed out on witnessing something huge. Turns out this has only but begun.

Awesome.

May I humbly make a suggestion?

I am of the mind that purple buds are usually a sign of high CBD.
It may be helpful to select for low CBD, high THC plants.
Low CBD, high THC plants tend to be perceived as more potent.
There is a quick cheap test you can do at home to achieve this.
If you are interested in these types of tests, I can try and dig up that info.

Just my 2 cents here.
Good luck on the project.
I really love the way you folks are working together on this project.
Should be tons of fun.

Peace
Shag

lol Did you read the project Plan cuz?
Potency is one of the objectives here

But, all input/suggestions/comments etc are appreciated! Don’t stop!

I’ll add you to the message.

Nice!! Super nice!!

I did, twice in fact.
While I did find the read entertaining, I did not see clear goals and methods outlined.

That is the only reason for my post.
To reveal the method as a means to achieve that goal.

Also to try to bring to light the fact that you could have 30% THC and not have a potent strain/cultivar or at least it may not be perceived as potent.

Are you aware that the ratio of CBD to THC is very important to how potent a strain/cultivar is perceived to be?
And how long the buzz with last.

If you look under the last pic, ‘THE PLAN’ explains what we/re doing here. As a grower/breeder of many decades lol I appreciate your concern. The project has commenced and as things progress you’ll see more on the methods and goals, so stay tuned!

Please forgive me if I am wrong here…
I just re read the intro again 2 more times and did not see anything about potency mentioned.

Could you please quote for verification.

Thanks
Shag

Best get the Deep Purple tracks lined up for this one, should be fun to watch! :+1: :v:

I think the word ‘potent’ is used right here, highlighted

I really would not say it was concern, so much as trying to assist.
I see this is not needed and I will bow out.
I did not mean to step on any toes here.

Peace
Shag

NO! lol you’re not stepping on any toes cuz
I said we appreciate you and anything you have to say is welcome
I was merely trying to let you know, we’re on it! lol

There can always be something useful in things folks say in any group conversation. Something that others hadn’t thought of, or overlooked, or even better methods to explore.
