The Spice must grow. Blessed be the Little Maker!

honestly…I’m gonna chalk these two as an experiment. shoudnt have done it with the bananz seeds but maybe I can get a cut or two out of it. MAYBE. I saw smth move on them sunday and I sprayed themdown yesterday. not happy with the “outdoors” to be honest. I’m 2mm away from destroying all and calling it a day.

Autos are already flowering. Dark Sparks are faaast

Little 24 carat popped up. I think I’ll move it indoors soon or start smth new. I

That is the part that gets me about outdoors… every damned time I’ve moved plants from outside to my grow room, they’ve brought some pest or fungus along with them! I just don’t do it anymore.

On the other hand your plants look grand and octopups do work fine outside.

Best regards,

Thank you Grouchy! A misnomer, really! You’re always so positive and never fail to cheer me up.

Hey!

Did you happen to use the osmocote with the octopups, if yes, how was your experience?

The little seedlings are being fed by osmacote. I didn’t do a cannabis plant but the plant below is a basil I planted with osmocote last year.

I like basil. :joy:

in this case you’re going to let mother nature run the “lights” (sun). all you need to do is top dress and water for a few months. sometime in august you’ll see the flip and you’ll harvest sometime in october depending on strain.

outdoors you need to worry about bugs and critters. everything likes to eat the ganja.

be patient. ride it out. outdoors add some interesting factors to flavors and smells (and in some cases, potency) there is a difference between outdoor and indoor end product. worth giving it a shot.

yep. it was great.

@Til_Valhalla thank you. that is useful. i already killed a thrips infestation. I’m gonna let them run where they are. hope one is a fe, and I might take a few cuts. shot given.

Thank you

Quick update.

Bananaz are doing well. At the rate they’re going they will be interesting (read huge) in flower. Pronounced smell in the greenhouse already.

No signs of bugs after repeated applications of spinosad. (btw, once mixed from concentrate, and the it’s good gor 10 days).

Been thinking about taking a couple cuts, rooting them and finding out if there’s any fems.

You don’t even need to root them, just put them in a cup of water and give them 12:12. I would be leery of putting them in your flower tent though, if you have any chance of pests coming with them.

Hello OG. July is finally here. Quick update on my lazy AF outdoor grow.

They’re on a 3.75gr of 15-5-15 per gallon + 1gr of gypsm and epsom and as you can see, they’re loving it. Taller than me at this moment, I’m thinking of trimming them up a bit.

Scrawny experiment. I didnt do right to these poor Dark sparks. I promise I’ll do better next time I run them.

If I’m completely honest with myself, I’ve been phoning it in this year. motivation has cratered. So, I finally got off my lazy ass and did some things. cleaned up my room a bit and set a little order to the chaos in there.

This morning I planted a seed of a Jack Herer (photo fem) and 2 seeds of Lavender Jack (photo reg) LJ is the first plant I grew and I loved the smoke. A return to the roots so to speak.

Morning folks.

Quick Monday update.

Took some cuts, they’re living in separate cups by a window. In a week I’ll move them under a 12/12 and find out if one or two is a fem. Been trimming them back to slow them down a bit.

They’re drinking steady so far. 10 gallons in 9 days. Tomorrow I’ll make another reservoir.

Local amish seed/nursery place was advertising them in their catalog. Thought about it for a long time while the better half kept loosing flowers overwinter. 2 amish men put it up in a day. rigged up a diesel heater to keep it above freezing. so far so good.

I’m happy with it.
