Probably just a habit I haven’t messed with. Stopped using cal-mag in the past and they show mag decencies. Started the silica because some plants flopped in flower so bad. But don’t really see a lot of difference.

If using silica , I was advised to just use in veg , when I did use it in veg it was just as part of ph up regime so only little amount along with reg ph up : )
Plants that are regular supported flop at near end of flower due to uptake being reduced by plant as coming to end etc : )
An other good sign to start cutting Back on n and p if you haven’t already started to : )

I see the co2 bag , I know they say co2 falls but does it still fall if it’s warmer than air below ie heat rises , heat from led ? I have no idea , just curious

I wouldn’t think the led would be hot enough to disrupt falling CO2… Maybe some that burn hotter but even then CO2 should be dense enough two drop past rising warm air…
I don’t know though, not an air scientist or anything… Just wanted to sound smart haha

Hey @Jetdro , Chris from Octo recommended no lower than 10-12 inches in height for the Octos to perform well. I didn’t think to ask about overall volume. instead of a 12" tall, 5-6 gallon of coco, do you think a 12" tall, 5-6" wide so it holds 1-1.5 gallons of coco would perform similarly?

@SaintAliasKnife i asume fabric would be the way to go tho for air in pot ,less chance of aanerobic stuff happening maybe due to sitting wet etc but I know nothing of octos , might be ok

I think the height of pot relates to the height of Max Rez fill hieght , like in my crates ( nomatter what different crate hieghts I use I flood 1/3 max no more )
