Exactly and the heavy duty and clean easy. They have tall short round really round there great there pheno bags are sweet to. I’m so ready to get started with the octo. It just in my nature to modify shit

Have you used with the octo at all. I was adding about a inch of straight perlite in the bottom the coco mix and bottom feeding it worked great sucked all the water up in a couple minutes. It was just time consuming and I work outta town alot so it just didn’t work out

@ifish i am using ProMix BX currently and have about 1/2 bale left I think….gotta check.
I run 1.2 gal containers right now so a bale lasts awhile but if I did the math right I will have to go ahead and get another bale to do 4 of those 6 gal octopots. Takes a week or two to get it sometimes so I need to get on it anyway.
Usually get the HP but this last time I ended up with the BX.
Which is preferred?

Nope. Just bottom feed with them. No plans on messing with the Octo’s.

I’ve even used the cheap pro-mix from Menards. All work the same.

When do you put your net up? How far above the plants do you put it?

I make it so I can slide up and down on the poles to position it way I want it .
I put mine in when I placed the octopots just had it raised high :
2 weeks ago I lowered it . There are actually 2 nets there together. If I need more support I’ll lower one or raise one

I used tie wire
Same I train plants in lst with
Tie it to net wrap 2 times around pole but not too tight
Can slide each corner up n down on the tent poles

So when you are growing different varieties such as you are this run do you just pick a harvest date that works for all cause trying to do a staggered harvest would be a chore with the nets, no? @Jetdro
I have used nets a few times in the past but only when I had one cultivar in there

Just cut stalk at bottom of plant and work it pair of the net or cut it into branch’s
