its sitting for a few more minutes. I already pulled the 160 bag and threw it out. I dont like the 160 and do not smoke it. Dont like edibles so no need to keep it. Generally do not use the 25 bag , but am this time just to see. 160 bag did not have much in it .
I use “spacers” between each bag, so each bag is NOT sitting inside another bag. Drains much much quicker like this. More room to “fall” for the heads
Color from hose was NICE…very light, tan/gold. Whatever it pulls THIS RUN , should be top notch i would think. The Bud going in most excellent, lol.
I have found it is usually darker than that when soaking wet. I have screens to dry sift too…THAT comes out like fine beach sand…but i MUCH MUCH prefer the water hash to it.
I read that 4% return from fresh frozen bud is about as good as it gets. THIS bud was 3-4 weeks early, not under a main light, so curious to see how it does.
4% would be 20 grams…3% would be 15 grams…ill be happy at anything 3% or better.
Yes i know that, 90 percent water content by weight fresh frozen. I will pull 20% or better on my normal dry bud hash runs. They say 3-4 percent by weight from fresh frozen is a great return. Saw the numbers, 4 % fresh frozen is better than 20% return on dry…they say…i shall see soon
I’m hoping! Looking forward to watching your hash runs. My last batch I used my machine without a bag. Then pulled with a 160 and 73. Let bud sit for 30 min. Wash 15. Sit 30. Wash 15. Sit 30. My best batch yet. Can’t stay out of the freezer pulling samples!
Unfortunately not all of them are worth running! I ran a batch that yielded a single gram once. Tossed that plant out. I just keep the decent hash producers.
This was my “mutant” Space Monkey #1 that was a strange plant. NOT like her other sisters at all, WHY i made hash from the whole plant. Figured this plant would be a good one to “test” the bag/no bag again.
