Awww man, sorry to hear that. hope you find your passion again! Honestly, sometimes I feel like its more work than I’m willing to tolerate and have taken a few breaks because burnout always feels like it’s on the horizon. Not quite the same sentiment but just saying I know what it’s like to question your own interest in hobbies you’ve been into for years.
I actually did that in a nutrient film system I built out of downspouts I saw laying on a curb and it worked DAMN well. So spicy you’d assume it was coated in black pepper.
Money is the great motivator, so I do understand.
But growing is addictive. I willing to bet as soon as those 9 are finished, you will find a reason to start 9 more.
Sad to see you go, but I know how it is when a break is needed. I finally took one myself. But for real, I miss the time I spend with the plants.
Forget about who wants this or that. It was much more fun when I was just growing for my needs.
Well that is the beauty of seeds. They store great long term with a few measures. You can always circle back and grow something here and there. I’m a big proponent of taking time off of stuff that you’re bored of or burnt out on. Can come back later with new energy for it if you want to.
I finally know what I am doing (in a simplistic way) and other than the last bunch of thrips I can get to the end of a run with something to show for it. Three years of screwing up and learning. I am ready for a break. Going to do a seed run for OG and that is it until spring. I have other things in life that needs attention. Wen I get back I’ll have the CBD seeds I made to run to see if they have anything good to say about them.
I used to run Sept through April, had the summers off. Enjoyed the breaks but friends got cranky… lol… bought ac and iv been going 18 months straight… and I’m the cranky one these days.
I haven’t stopped growing in over 2 years it’s just been an o growing grow I’m tired from it,looking after plants before work then after work 2 dogs a wife, takes up a lot of my time
I used to have a remote patch out in the bush. Lugging water and going to check on them got old as F. I did it for about three or four years until I finally got lights and tents. Been steady growing indoor with no breaks ever since. I made some auto seed this winter and now I want to return to outdoor to try them out. Talk to me after outdoor this summer and I’ll probably feel the same Irish.
No no no, I have a job, one wife, one kid and 2 dogs and 5 minutes two times a day is near nothing I spend more time in the bowl!
Hope you come back, best wishes!
I just started a new grow after an 8 month break, it feels exciting again to get some fresh weed going, everything I have is over 18 months old, and I still got 700 to 800 grams left to go lol.
Sometimes a break is a good thing, it was hard watching all the great bud pics in people’s grows at first, but you soon fill the gap time wise quickly with other stuff, like reading more threads here lol.
Yeah but I have 3 tents
Going it
Takes up some
