This seems familiar- Seamonkey84’s first grow in 12+yrs

Feeling good about this batch . I just put some stakes and twist ties to wrangle the overgrown/floppy orange goji manifold plants. Now they are not just leaning on each other. I still need to pipe the exhaust from the tent through the wall and into the next room, but humidity is staying relatively manageable this time, plus the new infinity fan can run all night and not bother me.

Planning an expansion, I need a 4x2 tent to put 3tier shelf into. I need more space for mothers, cuttings/seedlings, and veg.

Idk, this was more of a pollen chuck to get a bunch of seeds to give back to the community. Not even sure when I can grow a few out myself between all the testers and clones I have

Can’t wait to see what you end up with.

Some good signs here, but it seems a little sporadic how well the pollen took. These two were hit with the same pollen, but they are different strains too

But that second one may just be a reaction to the handling and being covered with a bag, the other branches on that plant that didn’t get dusted looks almost the same

Another pollen didn’t look like it took at all, but it’s still early. Either way, it looks like some seeds of each pollen may be in the works, just. It sure how much yet of course.

Full tent shot while I’m at it

Good luck man, I only found it feasible to use 2 tiers of my shelf. You could get a taller tent possibly, or use one tier as a really short one for seedling only. I found it cut into my height for the other 2, too much. I’ll be interested to see what you come up with though.

I’m looking for ones as tall as I can get within reasonable price range. If I stick with lower wattage LEDs or fluorescent lights, I can keep them right over the mother plants and keep the shelf’s short. Just don’t want to run into that heat issue you had with all those T5HO units.

Get a t8 fan and no problems.

You can probably get short intetnode space with decent led placed closely also.

That 2nd to Last picture looks like something you won’t be satisfied with. I’ll head Downstate to take it off your hands…lol. Bro, ALL are looking lovely, you didn’t miss a beat!!! SS/BW…mister :honeybee: :100:

I’ve got cuts of almost all of them lol. After the smoke report, it’ll be mid April, so you’ll be getting cuts for sure. Oh, judging by the estimates maturing time, this batch should be ready and dry for my birthday/4-20 celebration.

Ok, so I ordered a 4x2x6ft tent for veg. Looks like it can’t get here soon enough, as I just discovered some mites on my collection of clones/mothers :face_with_symbols_over_mouth::face_with_symbols_over_mouth::face_with_symbols_over_mouth:. Pulling out all stops on the treatment for the mothers and new clones, not going to bother with natural with them. But the blooming plants will of course also need to be treated. They are on day 26 now, I know there’s many options that I can use right up to the week or two before harvest, but I’ve been out of the loop and so much to read though. What are the more effective treatments for plants in mid bloom, the tent is in my bedroom, and I also have a pet bird in there, so a no pest strip is out of the question in the case. I used one of those strips in the quarantine tent, but I bought and opened that one back in July so prob need a new one. But I’ve also read that there are mites that are resistant to the pest strips, so I’m still going to look for some sort of spray/soak for them. The mother plants are all small enough that I can hold them upside down and give them a swirly in what ever I end up using.

So to anyone I offered clones and cuttings to, things are going to be put on hold until they’re all exterminated!

That sucks  how bad are the flower plants

Barely noticeable. In fact, if I wasn’t looking specifically for it, I prob wouldn’t of seen it. There are only one or two mites on a leaf here and there, but I know that’s just priming for an explosion any day

Damn man, that sucks.

Probably in the flower tent, you can just hold them in check. There are other options for the veg tent.

So, some got through your quarantine then. It’s gonna be hard to come up with effective protocol.

I didn’t go full bore “protocol 0” like @joecool layed out, I went lite on it :pensive:. He had mentioned that there are mites that are resistant to the no pest strips, and my strip was getting old… so striping my plants down to the last few nodes, then dunking them in some chemicals a few times over two weeks should do it. Just need to find the right chemicals that won’t be too toxic to handle and no fumes. Future cuttings will be striped down and then submerged. Almost all the clones I got were just in a rock wool cube, so I submerged them to drown any on them, but the first two clones, I ended up not throwing out the original soil they came with :confounded:, just relied on the pest strip to kill any mites and eggs that hatched over the course of 7 days. Maybe I should also expand that to 10-14 days in the future. It’s those damn eggs…

Just make sure it’s not “too toxic” .

Yea, I know in the past, avid was the nuclear option and it is banned in my state. Now there’s more brands with the same ingredients that are allowed :man_shrugging:t2: I’m ok with having to wear gloves when using it, but I don’t want fumes or need to rinse the plants off after. I know even with neem or insecticidal soap will kill them off well enough with proper repeated treatments, like twice a week dunk for two weeks. Just need to break that life cycle completely. But I can’t do that with my flowering plants, spraying tends to miss too many and it just keeps the population at bay.
