Good to hear bro. Mine pulled through unscathed! Two days in the dark igloo but didn’t lose a limb. Even the small one that I put a trash can over with a heavy rock on top, did fine, except it was a little latter than the can so the cola was bent over a bit.

Man, I’m so happy. I got pushed right up til the snow started and I didn’t think I could pull it off. Plus, I wasn’t sure the igloos would be enough but I’m more than pleased. I lost my 4 monster tomato plants. I couldn’t get to them in time. I did cover two new heirloom plants that were smaller and a purple variety and they made it I think. I took their cover off only this morning. They look fine. The large ones next to it are collapsing into a pile of frozen plant. I hope I get the tomatoes that are still on it to ripen, but doubt it.

Some pics if you don’t mind…

Here are they hemp fields they’ll make it. I’d guess a good 30% or more are tipped over from the wet and snow and hard winds!

Ha, I bet they stake them next year, lol… I drove by an outside commercial weed grow in town and imagine they’re feeling the pain of trying to grow outdoors in Trinidad. From the little I could see through the fences looked like the plants were knee high. Maybe is grown for concentrate.?

The sun id finally out today and the last of the snow is melting. It feels like summer again, sort of…

Ya I’m not sure of the regulations involving hemp fields but maybe males are needed for seed production who knows?

Ya it’s probably 1.5 miles away or so as of now looks like the bud is less seeded at this point but I’ll guess we’ll see when it comes to chop time!

I wonder about the places in NorCal. Some areas have lots and lots of large grows just from looking at Google. I wonder if they battle with seeded plants from inexperienced growers in their neighborhood or immediate region. My plants in late spring got seeded indoors from leaving the windows open. I can’t make sense of where it may have come from. I’m in a canyon sort of with a large mountain just east of me. Seems like the wind was coming from the east around 45mph steady for a couple of days. It may have come from Oklahoma! lol

I had a branch just die for some reason. It looked pretty brown by the time I got there. Being a good steward, I kept it to dry as slowly as possible in a paper sack. I was shocked, not even halfway done, but it was pretty good. It tasted great for no cure. Im excited. Hell, bout forgot the point.

I found an immature seed, so it could very well be some leftover pollen blown in from here. Not me bro.

I had the same thing happen to me the other day. About a fourth of my plant just died like it had a stroke or something. Well I just cut those branches off and gonna be trimming for some time now.

Drying it in the sack seemed to work

I don’t have any paper sacks but do have some cardboard boxes. Anything that will save me some time lol. I’m gonna put the larf in a box for sure. Thinking I’m just gonna keep only the tops

That may work. Keep an eye on them.
