My 6th birthday I was blowen away with my first skateboard kit
Good morning everyone. Just so weāre clearā¦ I didnāt surf or skateboard. That sh)t is dangerous . Also why I stayed away from motorcycle! My auto correct for motorcycle is Motorbreath!
Mornin fellaās
Good Morning
@Emeraldgreen Its a way to stay young and destroy your body at the same time
I already went down on my father harley years ago and ruined his special paintjob. It definitely shook from that one even without getting to messed up. First thoughts when I went down was "my fathers gonna kill me " as the I had the adrenaline spike of a lifetime to be able lift the Softail up from the ground. Spittin and sputtering all the way home.
Good morning fellas, been working so hard over here I couldnāt get out of bed this morning. Hope everyone had an amazing weekend.
Yikes, when I had my GSXR I was staying at a buddies in Toronto and stayed a couple days longer than expected, it was early October, i decided to leave early in the morning, traffic was ridiculous and I decided to take the parkway on the bike, rounding a bend I hit a patch of ice, layed that bitch down going about 60kmh, somehow I managed to get my leg out from underneath and basically rode that bitch laid down at least 120 ft up onto the grass by the beach, I picked her up shaking literally, and all was well minus the gouges, my stand laying in the middle of the road and losing my watch somehow. I couldnāt believe it. Two years later ne and my cousin were riding the roads real early am. Like 5:30-6 am mid summer, thereās a big bridge that goes down to the bridge going over the falls after an insane straightaway that was then Robinson. We got a little carried away and weāre approaching that bridge nearing 140kmh , I let off but he kept going, as he approached the bridge there is water that pisses out of the base from the top and empties in between the lanes, it had basically drenched the whole right side, which he hit turning and trying to brake, I watched him lay it down in horror, sparks flying he laid back completely (were in shorts and t-shirts mind you) by the time I got to him he had slid hundreds and hundreds of feet, bike was totalled up against the medium and he was sandwiched between the medium and a light standard screaming , blood and flesh everywhere. I swear I canāt remember anything after that. I know I took off my shirt, wifebeater, and socks to try and help stop the bleeding etc until the ambulance came. They had to graft skin from all over his body to replace his entire back, right ass cheek and right arm/leg. Thank god heās one of the toughest mofos Iāve ever met, sadly now heās going through some pretty bad dementia and not doing so well either, he was running a rescue for horses here but we recently had to help him get rid of the ones he had left and prepare the farm for sale as he barely knows whatās what he canāt take care of a farm anymore. After that one I still rode but much less, sold the ninja, got a bmw (that I sold a few years back ) and havenāt had a rocket since.
Damn man thatās intense. Luckily you and your friend both are still around but very sad to hear about his diagnosis of dementia. Itās so easy to get carried away on a bike, I couldnāt get comfortable on those ninjas or any street bike, so I never rode them. So much power in those bikes itās really nutz and I would end up doing something stupid back then.
I went down going not too fast but more than I should have been around a corner and leaned into the corner too much and caught the straight pipes which kick the ass end out then the bike started to get the death wobble, very fortunate not to get stuck under the bike and somehow like bicycle jump of before it went down.
The bike I have now is a sleeper that my father and I built for the years. The motor is fully worked. Stage 4 kitted upper and lower end, boared out, high compression valves, etc
If I get on it only in second gear it wants to throw you off her and when you do hold on to the bars, they will move back on me from all the force lol.
Itās very lower to the ground and now only use it as a intended which is a bobber. Just to bop around town to do simple errands or ride to work if its a nice day.
I like my horses to have four legs. lol
When I was a kid I rode a lot of bikes and yes, itās hard for a young stupid kid like I was to not push the edge of good sense. Itās a good thing you were there for your friend bro. And like InTheWoods said, I hate to hear about your friends dementia. Prayers for him and his family.
I flew 60 feet through an intersection doing 80kph after hitting a car turning left in front of me.
My buddy just built his wife a bobber, ya that death wobble is one of the scariest things that can happen, itās almost impossible to get out of, I can picture it now. And you are right itās hard not to test your limits , especially in my 20ās and 30ās. I can recall trying to reach 180 then 200 then bury the needle, I can honestly say pushing 200kmh on a crotch rocket is one of if not the scariest thing ever! Like nuts, teeth clenched, heart beating out of your cchest, one mistake is all you get. Gets my blood pumping just thinking about it.
Thank you brother
Yikes! I can only imagine, bet that was scary af ! I take it you had a helmet? Iām glad I always at least wore that. Wish they had turtle shells etc. back then, or even leather armour.
I had on full armour gear. Little friction burn to the helmet from sliding. Lots of damage to the jacket and a road rash from where the jacket rode up and exposed the skin on my side.
It could have been ugly. I walked away and got really drunk.
Man ! You are definitely lucky, Iād definitely be armoured out if I tried any crazy shit nowadays. Glad you are still with us bro. Lol at got really drunk !
It could have been really bad like death wheelchair bad.
I always shake my head at people who ride in their shorts and tank tops like they are crazy.
I donāt ride anymore. Traffic around here is mental. If I lived in the country maybe but not here.
I believe it, sometimes itās better to take that as a win and walk away with a few scars and a helluva memory! If I lived there not a chance I would either. My buddy has a club out there (gangsters on crotch rockets so the exact opposite of what we picture as a club lol) I always make fun of them. Like do u guys just all line up then go sit in traffic, or what does it feel like to own a piece of machinery capable of 300kmh and never be able to take it above 20 ? I rarely ride anymore. I technically still have a bike but itās in pieces in milk crates and boxes nowadays.
When the DVP is bumper to bumper because of an accident up ahead itās a serious advantage. I can be at the head of the pack in no time.
But for the most part youāre right.
Fastest I ever went was 180kph and I had plenty of room left on the throttle but I was too scared.
@TopShelfTrees1 just seen you have a part 2!! amazing dude.
Do you even still post grows in this thread
Lol I forgot about that, remember how mad people would get, flying up the median past the gridlock, jumping off on an exit etc. haha I loved that stuff! Even at Tim Hortons when the line up is miles and people canāt get in, swoop, up the side, over the grass, parked, coffee in hand while people give me the stink eye lol. My fastest was 228 , I was soaked by the time I stopped , soaked in sweat! I swear I had an adrenaline rush for 3 days after that, never tried again although I clocked 215 in a race a few years later but it was on a road with no traffic that was an old airplane runway in St.Catharineās! Smoked that guy badtoo
Bahaha I know right ? Iām just in the process of redoing the room a bit, tons in Veg atm, nada in flower. I did however pop some mean gene goodies from an awesome guy and thanks brother! Hope you are well
