That’s one of the few things I don’t have in my camera collection is an old movie player/recorder. That carving is so cool

That projector is from the 30’s. Another kodak one in the room is th x20’s.

I have a full victor from 1938 but it’s too big to display right now

I love that kind of stuff, absolutely love it, now you’ve got me on a mission, I just put a sticky on the fridge to find old recorder/video players pre 90’s

You had Jon but he passed away a few years ago. He ran that pawn shop just off the niagara strip in a converted house.

That guy had so much ancient camera stuffs he was a regular on diff canadian pawn shows

Oh man, yup him and Simon were legends here, it’s funny you know of him, very cool. I actually know where the majority of his stuff went, another local pawn shop and evil kneivel museum my friend Chads father owns, I’m going to go there on my Monday walk, but I have a feeling he’s gonna want a fortune. He’s got stuff in there for hundreds of thousands of dollars, it’s more like a museum than a pawn shop but everything is for sale, if you ever are down here check it out, I’ll post a link hold up.

You asked about my art. Well okay. Here is an oil painting I did for my wife. She wanted the dead tree left that way. Go figure. lol

I have also done a few carvings in the past before arthritis took over.
This was my first carving.

I’ll try to finish this one soon as I can.

Anyway that’s what I do to pacify my artsy fartsy side.

That’s very cool, man I know how tough those carvings are, I’ve tried my hand. Especially in that butt stock, and you paint too! Look at you go, awesome

I love the soap stone carvings, love ivory too but that’s a big no no now, my dad and I have collected Inuit carvings for years, since I was a child, he has quite the collection of those and civil war stuff. Something about those carvings they just hold some type of power you can feel it’s awesome

Thank you man. I’m the same way with my art that I am with my plants. I see EVERY flaw. I don’t show my stuff often because of that. lol
