Ya ivory they have put a big big ban on, I was looking at the sculptures coming out of Asia recently and it’s mind blowing the intricacy and size of some. (Think mid sized sedan ) adorned with gold, emeralds, ruby’s. And they are seizing stuff like that often! Idk who can afford to lose multiple shipments like that but it really opened my eyes

things like this, its cheaper from the carver then what its listed there, i met david pudlat in dorset & smoked a few joints with his father, mosha, his father is a well known carver and one of the walrus hunter in kingait i think i have a similar bear from david here few carvings from his father too the walrus my dog detusked or un-tusked

My wife has a nice collection of native arts handed down to her, she’s part Athabaskan.
Mammoth ivory, walrus tusks and oosik as well as jade, baleen and furs are popular native craft items here.

written as such is a different dialect then the inuit ppl but is similar to ussu wich is the word for dick in inuktituk baffin island dialect im no lingual expert here but ive been around few villages and tried to learn the language
