How’s it going, did you servive the storm m8. Lost my wheel barrow, found it in the neighbor’s back yard down by the trees. Lucky I didn’t put the green bin out and the recycling bag, they would probably be in Norway by now lol.

we didn’t get much snow at all ,maybe 2-3 inches.
unfortunately the compost bags were at the curb.
found 2 of them, but no sign of the third.funny the garbage truck
made it but not the compost truck.had the guy from n.s. power
come yesterday and replace light bulbs .wrapped the hot water heater,
and gave me 2 smart power bars that shut your tv and things off after
a programmed time.might not be too smart as one already screwed up .
other than that things are going well.

Thats good to hear. Yeah I did that last year, the guy spent 3 hours here chatting about getting a grow licence for his girlfriend who had Cronhes. Her Doc would not let her go for medical cannabis. I gave him some cbd to take with him for her to try.
Just got back from the weed doc. New Doc new staff, no one new what to do for a grow your own medication. I tried to tell them that all I needed was the MCR reg number and the original medical doc, but they said no, we don’t do that, as its been legalized now. Just down loaded the renewal form and its asking for those things so I will call health Canada tomorrow to make sure before I send it. I got her to grudgingly up my daily allowance, I told her I was using on average 4 - 4.5g a day so she bumped me from 3 to 3.5 ???. I wasn’t going to argue, but putting a limit on my consumption is irrelevant, when I can legally consume as much as I want of recreational 
seems more like a way of collecting more taxes, and fines if I am over my plant count and storage amount.
One of my Blue Heaven just hermied, its the one that kept going all wilted every time I got near it. A bit too sensitive glad I didnt bother getting clones from that one, its in the worm bin now. Its dropped my count from 9 to 8 in flower now. 
I may just take some cbd cuttings and stuff the mother in their to make the numbers up.

did they give you those smart power bars for your tv?
having an issue with this. the power bar is supposed to
turn off your tv at a scheduled time of 1 ,2 or 8 hours if
left unattended. well it was set to 1 hour and keeps shutting
the tv off every hour while you’re watching it. gonna do a little research on it
to see what signal it needs to keep it on while watching.
looks like an expensive thing. if not maybe i can unplug the sensor
and see if all the plugs work as a normal power bar.
other than that i fucked up a little monday. i flipped the room to 12\12
but forgot i had the heater on a timer that was only coming on 6 hrs a
day. forgot to switch it to 12 hrs oops.checked the min \max and had gone
down to 30 f. brrr. they look fine though. had to leave the heater on all
the time now as its -19 this morning and the lights are now only
bringing it up to about 65f.when it was only -5 or so the lights keep
the temp about 75f.supposed to warm a bit friday so looking forward to that.
interested to hear about your licence renewal as i’m going to be doing the same very soon.

Yeah the tv thing is annoying, you can run the power bar without the sensor, we had ours set to every 2 hours. You should get a message on the screen saying no activity detected please press ok to carry on watching tv. Once you do something on the tv it re sets the timer. You can unplug the sensor from the power bar.
It’s friggin cold here as well, my light is keeping the temps up in the flower room during the day, I haven’t been in there after lights out to see what the temps are with the heater on its on a thermostat that set to 70f, but it may not be coping I will have to double check tonight.
You might get a lot of purple on those plants now, they should be okay, so long as they didn’t freez up.
Going to ring health Canada in an hour, still a bit early for them. Find out exactly what they need on the paperwork.

Health Canada say I am good with what the weed doc gave me, the MCR number is on my current license, so don’t need to contact cannimed for that. Just have to print off the forms for my bit, and I am good to send it off.

for a renewal you need to send the original medical document signed by the doctor with the application, thats all you need … your MCR registration number should be on your original license from health canada

That’s what I thought, but the original document has changed since the last time I renewed, it’s now a gov form the doc has to print and fill out instead of just their headed paper printed on like last time, so I was double checking.

well i took some fresh shots of the girls to share.
traded out those cheapy trays underneath the pots
for better quality ones today . driving me crazy trying to pick up the
cheap ones to empty waste water and they kind of
collapse on you and water everywhere.
i flippeed to flowering 3 days ago so now we see
how much they are going to stretch.
had to abuse the iss x bb ,bent some tops over.
trying to keep an even canopy if possible.
thinking it’s not with the variety of plants in there.
i seem to be a sucker for punishment.

I just tried that Painkiller, very good stuff, I might have to grow some more of that, and make some oil with it. It’s opened up all my blood vessels, got a warm glow all over.

yes the painkiller is a nice start or end to the day.pretty mellow with the high cbd
content.i lost that strain somehow.do you still have it?.
i bought cbd blueberry which is 9% thc and 9%cbd. so should be about the same
high.probably be fall before i’ll be able to grow it though.

Bummer, that is a very relaxing strain.Well I got 60 odd grams of it to enjoy.
I am interested to see what the blue heaven is like, I have 3 clones of that at the moment, maybe a few more if they grow roots. The mother doesn’t want to produce big branches but it’s got a very stocky and thick trunk. It’s grown several inches this week with quite tight nodes, so excited to see what it will produce. You can have a couple of clones of that, if you want to try it.

i’m using a makeshift veg room right now. but will probably put them in my buddies
closet until spring planting.seems like a waste of money keeping another light
and heater going when there is a better light to put them under at no additional
cost.freakin cold this morn, -24 without wind chill brr! i’ll be cutting clones of both these
strains before spring so if you want an outside plant the qgc is supposed to love quebecs
climate so might be good outdoor.when you said the issxbb stretch you were right.
i bet they grew pretty near a foot yesterday.had to bend over all the tops on the timewarp
which went really well with that plant.tried it on the issxbb and it was back up so fast,
it really didn’t do any good. i’ll have to tie them down .

I could just control them by switching some lights off in veg and topping every week.
In flower they stretched 3ft 150%.
I need more light, I have a 600w I can add but don’t want to increase the electric consumption that much. I was thinking of taking out the 1000w and putting the 600w in there and getting another 600w but found a deal on Amazon for a 315 CMH for 239$ taxes and shipping in. What is the effective light footprint for yours. I know they are equivalent of 500-600w light. Their info says 6 square feet for flowering 9 for veg.

they have about a 3x3 ft coverage.i keep them 18 to 24 inches off the canopy
and they seem to like it. i think you’ll be impressed with it. great for veg as well.
seems to veg with results more like a mh lamp , short and bushy. at least more so than
an hps lamp.

actually i have to kill a plant today, and i’m not sure who to take.
i thought one of the seed plants would turn male but no.so 1 has to go .
thought about taking the fresian dew but it’s such a beautiful plant,i’m
at a loss what to do . maybe i’ll put them in a hat and pick one that way lol.
don’t need a week into flower plant do you. awful shame to kill it . i may weep for days
lol.

I would take it, hate to see plants wasted as well, but I would probably mess it up bad now, transplanting into organic soil, it will have to work harder to eat with a low bacteria count at the start and coming off liquid nutes lol. Mike will probably take it he asked me if I had clones again on Monday, if its big enough he could break it down for multiple clones, and re veg them, if they are only a week it wouldn’t take too much longer to get them up and running or just keep growing it as is, he uses liquid nutes.
Are they only 3x3 ft footprints on these lights, not as good as I thought it would be, given they say 6 x 6ft in the advert, but I knew they would be over exaggerating like they normally do, didnt think it would be that much. If it did 5x5ft then it would be a good buy but at 3 x 3ft I may as well go for another 600w HPS and run both with eye Hortilux bulbs, and take a 2.4 kw a day hit on the power bill and get a 50% increase in light and better foot print coverage compared to the 1000W hps. OHH decisions decisions lol.

how big is your room? i’ve always read that 2 600’s are better than a 1k for
an even footprint. to be truthful with you i ran a 1k hps and 1-315 cmh for my first
grow and it worked well.really didn’t grow as big or as tasty of weed as the 315’s alone.
but now there is about 1900 watts vs 1315 so that makes some of the difference.
either way you go will be an improvment .

Room is 8x7. I would like to run the 6x10 gal pots 2 deep down the 8ft wall and the 3 x 5 gal pots 3 deep on the far end corner. Instead of a 3x3 format in the middle of the room which makes it difficult to move around in there, for watering and defoliation.
I found some cheap 50w LED cob chips on eBay, thinking of building a big LED light now, if they are any good. I am going to post them up and see if any one has used them.
