RIP, Useful Seeds. Had there been any efforts to preserve his Black Lime Reserve? JBC Seeds had F4 and F5, right before he passed away.

I got a 12pack of Usefuls Lucky Lime regulars. He told me it was from his private stash of seeds and some really nice plants have been coming out of those beans.

Black Lime Reserve wasnāt a strain of his. He continued others work and threw together cool crosses mostly. Chocolate Diesel wasnāt his creation either. Big of Oranges was his creation. Super generous guy. Sad he passed so young.

Black Lime Reserve was created and released by Aficionado Mendocino. I think somewhere around 2016 /2017? Useful was working the BLR in a collaboration or cooperation with Aficonado. That is if my stoner mind is recalling the facts correctly.
Useful released Black Lime Special Reserve F5 a couple years ago and I got them from GLG.
From Useful I have:
11 seeds Black Lime Special Reserve F5 regs
5 seeds Gorilla Glue (GG4) S1 Fems
5 seeds Blue Dream x Chocolate Diesel S1 Fems
22 seeds Lucky Lime which as far as I can tell are regs although i havenāt popped them yet.
Iāll see how my winter indoor plans are once fall gets here and I fire the rooms back up.
I have a Useful GG4 S1 out in the greenhouse where she is still a small plant but will get upotted to her final pot soon and she should take off.
I ācouldā hit her with my V1F3 Biker Kush maleā¦ or an extremely stanky Lui x G13 (f1 gen) maleā¦ but I hadnāt really made any plans to breed her but I will probably keep a clone.
Not sure Iām up for another seed run but weāll see when fall gets here.

I remember reading about it on ICMAG back in 2016. It spread quickly, I originally thought it was someone connected to Seedbay, but Aficionado Mendocino set it all off. Thanks.

ya there was a grower from australia on icmag that was making F2ās of a pile of different high end and hard to get packs. Aficionado was one of the breeders that he was F2āing and dropping on seedbay for server fund raising. I think in the end he took a lot of flack from some of the breeders whoās gear he was releasing in F2 form but I am only guessing.
He sent me a bunch of seeds privately and I grabbed a bunch of packs off of seedbay at the time. Black Lime and some black lime crosses where some of the popular packs that were getting a lot of discussion at the time.
I have a pretty good spread of Black Lime reserve from 4 different sources including Usefulās and some F2ās made from one of the ābreeder cutsā from wonderland nursery and pollen from black lime reserve F1 from the original release.

i suppose when it comes to weed seedsā¦ ya might be right but in reality I sure do spend most of my time at home in the garden or here on the couch with all you growmies

Genius Thai Extreme x Chocolate Trip is in the middle of week 3 from flip and really a nice plant to grow. Itās getting Blue Moon Rocks pollen this Sunday and then a second dusting a week later.

2 plants. 1st 3 pics are #1 next 3 pics are #2. They are both in 30gals. The plants are extremley similar.
