Hey guys. Has @ThePotanist found this thread yet? He was looking for some old pot farmers and their heirloom genetics like your red hair.

Hey guys sorry I’ve been quiet, got some good news I wanted to share with y’all
We have 2 females and 1 confirmed male. Everything has been moving slow, they look like they need some food but I have been to nervous to feed or up pot. Just starting to notice some stronger root growth so will prob up pot on the next day or so into 3 gallons where they will veg out some more till they are nice and strong for some clones.

Looking very good! Keep em rolling. I can say I’ve learned this strain likes it more on the warmer temp side than it does on the colder temp side. Looking nice and lush green. How is the stem rubs smelling?

@ChinookKing So Im using a new light for veg still getting use to it but I did move them a little closer to the light and warmed the room up a little bit since pics were taken & noticed a difference in doing so, also think they might be sensitive to over watering but I know once they get up potted they are going to blow up. Stem rub is a bit piney not super strong but when I do start moving the plants around or take them out to be watered they definitely have a strong odor to them. I’ll post some shots this coming week or so when they get up potted

If those are clones they probably have root problems.

Unfortunately that looks like the mother plant. I’m going to guess too acidic soil. It was starting to looking really good at first

It was. How do I bring it down?

Without knowing what you’re using for fertilizer or what kind of water you have. I would flush the container with at least 3 gallons of plain water at first and see if that helps. Then try to adjust PH if there’s still a problem. Usually peat and wood chip based soils are on the acidic side. Especially after the buffers wear off. I use a small amount of baking soda dissolved in water to see if it makes an improvement. If there’s no improvement in a few days then look for other issues that could possibly be causing the burning. I would also not use that soil for the cuttings you took recently just in case it’s bad.

Edit*
I think I know what’s happening. The plant loved the first type of soil you used in the beginning but it looks like you used a different soil for the big container. Once the roots started growing into the new soil they didn’t like it. You can either try to adjust the soil you have or abort, pull it out and use something similar to the first soil you started them in. Sometimes it’s not worth it trying to fix bad soil

Thinking of pulling it and putting it in new soil

I recommend investing in at least a $75 pH meter. Need to be pHing your water.
