Vintage Kentucky Red Hair strain

I was wondering about that, and thinking I need to bring the nitro down (she hot!). And the potassium up?

Yea the nitro is high, and I am not sure on the potassium can’t tell if it is way hot or way low

I still have time to cut it and tweak it more. It won’t go outside till around the end of next month

I know this is months old. I’m slow

Blulab. I grow hydro and have gone through a number of meters and blulab is worth it. Quick update Everything is going good so far and the plants seemed to take well to the pollen. Frost is building and a nice smell of pine is coming off of them. Hope all is well with everyone :v::alien:

Right on. Looks awesome! Pine smell eh?

Yeah a piney hash smell but I think it will develop more over time also might not be it’s true terp profile because it’s spending so much energy on seed production instead of oil production etc. At least that’s what I’ve heard who knows though.

I gotcha, and I’d say you’re right on the profile.

Was a little hot at first, but powered through it, and looking good

54 days in seeds are maturing nicely. Frost is really starting to build up & lots more complex smells too. Looks like every available bract is going to make seeds so won’t really have anything to smoke but will definitely sample what I can.

I wonder if this KRH is related to the Kentucky side of Herijuana. Will you be doing a larger seed run @ChinookKing ? Very interested in this line.

This is the second pheno she grew slower, and was more mutated in early growth. She also has floppy branching compared to number 1 which holds itself up much better. Based off of all those things you’d think she’d be the less desirable but here at 54 days she’s proven me wrong the buds seem to be bigger she seems to be more frosty and stronger smelling. Also notice the seeds seem more matured in this one… typical case of don’t judge a book by its cover I guess… the smells are intense like pine, golf ball, and diesel wasn’t expecting it to be this strong really started developing in the last couple days.

I’ll definitely be doing a larger run of these in the near future forsure she seems super special want to really dive into a larger run and see what can be found… I’ve never really had herijuana on its own and didnt realize kentucky was in it, but would love to find out more about this/other Kentucky genetics if you know anything please share :v:

Hi mate,

The Sativa side of Herijuana is something called Killer New Haven and was allegedly a Kentucky outdoor with red/orange hairs. I Think Steve Tuck who originally bred Heri is a Southerner so I would not be shocked he had access to some quality Kentucky outdoor.

Thanks for the knowledge drop @haggis

@Familytradition looks like she’s definitely loving the sun lot of growth in a week, I Can’t wait to see how she does outdoors for you.

@ChinookKing is that a clone from the previous run or from the fem stock?

Should I be concerned about the red stems? @Haggis would love to learn more about other Ky genetics also
