She is a fem stock Lazarus volunteer from a seed that didn’t pop right away, I thought it was a goner. So I buried her outside in a pot of dirt. In the dead of winter, albeit a West Coast winter, she popped up and did pretty darn good. I brought her inside and she has been living in my kitchen window since. Makes the kitchen smell great. I just hit half of her with my frozen fem pollen. Hopefully it is still was viable. I have a feeling it was.
I’m noticing a smell close up now. She got over watered a bit, and was looking bad. I repotted her with some promix, and gave a trim. She’s bouncing back
That’s fantastic. I’m waiting to hear your smoke report too, give it to me straight. No pulled punches
Still going to let it flower another week or so to ripen up some more, Honestly there might not be much to smoke when the seeds are shucked but believe me I’m going to smoke anything I can.
Dude just crushing up this little bud collecting seeds the smells are unreal, my wife literally came running into the room asking what the fuck bud smells that amazing.
Yeah, it is something special
I can’t wait till I see her bud, and get to do a smoke report. Awesome job!
I’ve been dying to run some old Kentucky strains. If you’re willing to come off a couple of your Red Hair seeds lemme know. I’ve got a couple videos up on youtube of some seed repros I did under the same name. If you wanna see Bodhi’s acapulco gold grown indoors very cool stuff you got going bro
Count me in too that’s a really beautiful plant. Never seen red like that. Be impressive to grow out doors here.
All 3 of my girls. @ChinookKing may start on the regs after everything is getting cured this fall, and a slight break.
Good soaking rain overnight, and sunny, and 70s and 80s for 3 days. This Ky girl is about to look good. See y’all late Thurs… edited for today (Thurs)
well jus listen to a podcast about History of Skunk and the Kentucky 1996 skunk line . believe it is a Blue Moonshine cut for “Kay” maker of RKS. If one can find this strain 1979 Christmas Skunk (cultivert Town x burmese x afghan or covertown skunk x blue moonshine with the male (red hair skunk) being used as the male for breeding. FYI Trucker Skunk $300 for 6 seeds (regs) The “blue moonshine” name comes for moon shiners that got their “still’s” and equipment destroyed by police - fast forward the moonshiners started to grow weed hence Blue Moonshine !!! would very much to run some red hair be it male or female - but as mentioned for preservation males need to be run ~
Looking great @Familytradition, I will be following along on this. Can’t wait for a smoke report this fall. I just know it’s gonna smell like high school.
@ChinookKing, please keep me in mind if you got any seeds to spare, I will trade you out of some.
I knew I could do it! Let us get out of our depression! Let it get warm again! Think I have it sitting too deep, and correcting it later
I would suggest letting her go until you upsize the container. And she is looking a little green, relax a tad on the nitrogen. Looking good though! Carry on bud.
Thank you! Planning on doing exactly that. Chance of rain Monday through Thursday, so letting what’s in there soak up all this rain, and letting the roots get established a little more, before I raise the soil, or get a different pot. Maybe 5 gallon buckets lol. Edited: Had to bring her and her sister in. Had a wild storm roll through with heavy wind, another on the way, and they look beat up as it is.
Looking I may be transplanting all 3 next week. Roots showing on the bottom of my other two
