Reversal is looking beautiful. What a gorgeous plant he/now a she is! Night temps only hitting 60 and getting some great reddish purple on the fem pollen sacks.

Recipient female looking ready to make babies. She has a ton of white, soon to be Kentucky Red Hairs. I have a great feeling about these fem F2s (who knows what generation these really are? My buddies unkle took that knowledge to the grave.) Onward we go!

Very nice! They have a very unique look to them. I love the reddish veins and red at base of leaves. Great project.

I see this a lot with older seeds and wonder if it is that some of the DNA chains are breaking down.

Probably not correct and maybe we have a botanist on here that can speak to why this is so common in older seeds.

I’d like to hear from a professional career or PHD botanist if DNA decomposition is indeed the case.

i’d dare to say it’s probably due to the additional radiation the seed is exposed to with age. radiation causes mutations in dna with time.

Interesting to see such a heirloom after 47 years.I think it has Mexican origin genes in it.Could be wrong, but there was Mexican red hair around that time.I hope you can make 1000s of seeds of this heirloom.
The older the seeds the more mutations you will get overtime, especially when it is not proper preserved.

Those are pretty. How tall are they now?

The reversed male is around 3 ft and the female about two and a half ft. Thinking I might be able to get around 100 fem seeds this run.

Thanks. Getting an idea on how tall they’ll be

My plants were grown outdoors and had a very short veg cycle before flowering started. I imagine this strain can get massive with a solid indoor head start.

Good to know. Thanks

How things going? Waiting patiently on these 3 to get chopped, dried, and jarred before my next adventure, after I clean my tent. Once again, thank you, and can’t wait
