Virginia Is For Lovers

I drive past it all the time and still haven’t been! I’ll have to let you know when I’m going for my first time to see if you’re there!

Speaking of which, who’s gonna go check out Rivers Casino in Portsmouth on opening day in a few days?

They chose such a lovely area to place this facility. At least they recognize it as there’s supposed to be a mini police station indoors. Anyone want to set odds on over/under days before there’s a shooting?

Haha. I was thinking the same damn thing. Everything I keep reading about the casino says it’s part of the entertainment district, like they have plans to put even more stuff out there on victory.

A novel approach, i guess lol.

Check out normls website, they used to always have a list for local and state lawyers that represent cannabis offenses.

Ayeeee I cruise out to Hampton all of June/early July. Really good Cobia fishing off buckroe pier. good speckled trout and red drum fishing over at fort Monroe. Pennisula hydro used to be my favorite spot to go before VB got 6 new grow stores.

And those in power knew damn well what would happen.

Oregon has more weed than God. We can’t give it away.

Oklahoma is just as bad. A guy I know just retired from commercial growing out there as the best offers he was getting this last run from buyers was 400 a lb. This was really nice indoor with great bag appeal. It cost him around 300 a pound to grow it so he decided it wasn’t worth it. Dispensaries in his area were selling 3 zips for $100 bucks.

I’m kind of glad prices are dropping. The kind/amount of medicine cancer patients need is expensive in a dispensary from what I hear. I’ll be taking my sister to one soon & I’m sure the cost will be shocking for tinctures.

I would need a LOT of flower to make the amount of RSO/Green Dragon needed to hit cancer… and as a new grower, I can’t get close to that amount in a run yet. So lower prices are good for patients at least. Although I am sad some people have to close up their farm, that sucks.

I’m glad prices are dropping for your situation. But still sucks from a growers stance if they are trying to make a living off of it.

If people are just in it for the money, then they will be the first to close up shop. But anyone that is doing it for the love of the plant, hobbyists, or medicine providers, it shouldn’t matter much.

I’m gonna grow more off the wall things or make F2s instead of growing specific stuff because my buddies liked it.

There’s probably not gonna be much of a future in growing unless you own the entire supply chain from seed to sale. Hell. If the feds would change the scheduling, maybe you could get a weed subsidy from the government. :joy:

Seed-to-sale tracking is the VA cannabis authority mandate.

West Coast Disease coming soon to Va. Why growing for money is going to be a complete waste of time i think.
