Don’t be detracted by the “baby poo” smell. To me it was more like jarrred baby FOOD.
I grew an A13 x Vortex and it was more like rotten apples, or apple sauce w cinnamon. A bit spicy and very “old school”.
Very heady and SOARING high. Your mind will fly like an eagle. .
And have smoked straight Vortex and it was less soaring but happier and more motivating and stimulating of the 2 strains.
I preferred Vortex over the A13 x Vortex.
You would love it since i know you like C99. This is like C99 meets a Haze in effect. The Space Dude male brings some mango and cherry flavors to the rotten apples Apollo 13 female.

Nice choice! They’re looking good! I only have 1 strain by Subcool, and have all intentions of a seed increase with these last 2 Plushberry beans. They’re fems so I’ll have to break out the STS till I can maybe find some regs. I’ll quit rambling on your thread and go sit in the corner with my bong.

Yes, a huge thanks to all the seed donators here: @Weednerd.Anthony @buckaroobonsai @Guitarzan for your contributions and also everyone who’s been supportive of this run happening especially @DougDawson and @Gpaw for their kind encouragement as I’ve had doubts in my abilities. Also thanks to most of the other mods and coop team here for pitching in on my grow thread generally since I arrived at OG, and I can’t forget @Tardis808 showing up and registering here to contribute his thoughts on Vortex and other Subcool lines, along with the free pack of his F2s he sent me as a thanks for doing more preservation of this line we are all excited about.
An update from the grow: it’s Labor Day BBQ today at my house, hope you’re all having a nice one too on this bank holiday for the US. The ladies are all bursting along in 2G fabric pots, up to about 2-3’ tall from the soil, most have been topped already in the first round of cuts I took to send out, now I will be taking another round for myself tonight or tomorrow of a few from each Vortex F1 to keep as dads/moms for at least a little while until I send out more cuts and see which flowered lady I might want to keep around to try unseeded (probably all of them!).
After I take those cuts I’m going to pot up to 5G fabric pots and get them staked and tied down for flip and we are on the road! When I flip to flower, by the rules of the Co-Ops I will open up the signups here!

Update from today: everyone is bursting out of the tent (except the runt who’s fine but still small), I got my cuts taken for a tray of clones from all the F1s:
Flip should come in the next week, so keep an eye out for the signup when it does!
We had a simple little get together with some tofu and veg kebabs and pork Italian sausages on the charcoal. Can’t get much scent off them yet but I’m terrible at that with plants especially in veg.
