Anything with GG4 in it is a big no no for my wife.
We don’t know why, but if she smokes/consumes GG4 she’s headed for the hospital…

No idea if it was a bad batch or something els, But when we actually got weed from the government (before I knew better) she got something that was GG4 based. Smoked it and within 3hrs her whole body was covered in a rash… Trip to the ER and 2 days later rash left & she was released, hospital did nothing but watch & wait… We have never considered GG4 as friends since… it’s the only strain we actively avoid…

Not weed persay but a Delta-8 gummy gave me quite the entertaining “Neon” visual show for about 2 hours. That stuff just doesn’t feel right though…lots of muscle spasm type feelings that come in waves.

I’ll never use hemp based stuff again (outside of cbd).

Totally agree with you. I took a dab of some of that delta 8 crap a while ago. I threw the rest away. I didn’t enjoy it

Love this thread. Glad to see I’m not the only one scared of certain strains.

I recently jarred up a sativa that I’ve been giving away now because I can’t smoke it.

I find my hands tremble slightly - hope this isn’t pointing to something else - I’ve stopped caffeine and smoking this strain and havnt had the issue since. I only noticed it in the mornings after a couple cups of coffee and a smoke out of the one jar. The jar had a few girls of the same strain. I believe it was just one of the girls, but won’t touch the jar now. Was the first time I ever had something like this happen and it freaked me right out.

EDIT: started coffee back up since and I’ve been ok. 100% was the strain and it’s interaction with my system. Didn’t like this physical effect at all. Maybe I’m just getting old.

I am the same way with most sativa’s nowadays. That’s why if it isn’t mine I take one or 2 test hits to make sure.

Picked up some “traditional
market” recently - pretty impressed actually! Prices lo/fair and quality very high.

On the more expensive side there was some fancy dispo style LED grown super dense gorgeous “zaza” hybrids that we’ve enjoyed. Those nugs really do feel special in hand.

Val-U side was even more impressive for me, two of my all time fav strains - Trainwreck and Blue Dream. Fluffier bud structure, super fresh, tasty, reminded me of my early days of buying “good pot”. Trainwreck was basically 100% what my rose colored glasses expected, Blue Dream was def on the hazier side of that strain.

Anyway, long story long, my wife fuckin hates the hazier Blue Dream. Big rush followed by a headache. Not necessarily “afraid of”, but another example of hazier/sativa stuff turning people off.

It’s funny. I love growing sativas but only enjoy smoking them in rare moments.

Most people I know don’t know what a sativa is except from where it says “sativa” on the dispensary menu.

But that’s what makes life fun. Variety, surprise, sativa has it all. And it usually tastes amazing :+1:

I’m still careful though.

Anymore, I don’t smoke weed I didn’t grow myself, or a buddy grew. I quit coughing up nearly as much dark crap just smoking mine.

I will smoke weed from vetted trusted sources but I agree I’ve become much more selective in my old age.

And I’m a snob too which doesn’t help.

It’s interesting when you have to be nice and find something good to say.

Mostly I don’t get exposed to foul weed but sometimes you just have to lie to spare some feelings.

That’s interesting, GG4 is one of the ones both me and my girl agree on and she’s really sensitive to the herb and doesn’t like strong weed. Gets me stoned as shit which is rare for smoke with me. Wish I could get that cut again.

i found some panama red in a medical dispensary in wv, company called alt sol. it sure smells and tastes like the old stuff i recall from back in the day, but that was a pretty high time and almost 30 years ago so memory could be wrong…
i’d love to try that rainbow you speak of.
