What a flowerpot

Hi. Will a 13-inch (34 cm) tall 17-gallon (65-liter) flowerpot be enough for me to grow outdoors? I’ve been reading for 14 days and I still can’t figure out if this one will be enough or if I can choose a smaller one. Or lower. I have Glouberry OG, Tutankhamon DP, and Critical car from Skunkseed.

Yes, but you can get by using a 5 gal. bucket just drill a few drainage holes.

It really all depends.

Outdoors I never use more than two gallon pots. Most of my containers are less than a gallon.
Generally, the smaller the container, the smaller the plant. The smaller the container, the more watering/feeding they will need. I like small plants in tiny containers because I move them frequently throughout the day following the sun. I am retired so I have the luxury of time to dote on my plants.

Good luck. and have fun!

Interesting information. Thanks for the clarifying comment. Enjoy life :slightly_smiling_face:.

One rough rule of thumb is to use 1 gallon per month of growth, plus some leftover.
