There is a 6-part docu-series called Apocalypse The Second World War. It tell the story of WW2, from start to finish, with lots of color footage. The ones who did that also did Apocalypse WW1, which is also excellent.
History also posts episodes of Battle 360, another interesting show. The ones History put on YT tell the story of the entire Pacific Campaign of WW2, and interview a lot of veterans of that campaign (among others).
There is also SpongeBong Hemppants, Nuka Break (a fan film based on Fallout New Vegas) and StarMediaEN (a docu-series about WW2, told from the Soviet perspective).
I’m a documentary junkie.
I have a fire stick don’t pay for anything, got ride of cable long time ago just got rid of Netflix it’s not worth $17
Watched a video on tick tok how to get free movies on your 4k fire stick works a treat lol
Thanks. I’ll check that out. The biggest reason I no longer watch network TV is the damn commercials. I HATE commercials.
inventing anna is a good series, i started watching it over the weekend and it’s very good
mr. inbetween, australian series, i liked it a lot
I’ve recently powered through some series:
West World - loved it
Search Party - entertaining enough. Each season explores a different genre. 1 is a mystery, 2 is courtroom drama, 3 is psychological thriller, and 4 is just bonkers.
Glow. Great cast. I enjoyed this more than I thought I would. Too bad the 4th season was cancelled due to COVID.
Only Murders In The Building - Steve Martin is my hero so I knew I would enjoy this, but adding Martin Short and Selena Gomez with great writing elevates it to another level! Can’t wait for next season!
Also, “Barry” is a huge sleeper. Bill Hader from SNL stars as a bad ass assassin for hire, who decides he wants to get out of the game and become an actor. Henry Winkler as his coach is dynamite…
If you’re ok with the moral dilemma most streaming services can be had very cheap if you don’t mind sharing someone else’s account
I’ve had Netflix for months now, paid like $5 for a month or two but whoever owns the account has kept it up. Not sure if it’s a hacked account or an account the person I bought the login off of pays for and sells access to cause they do both but I’m not complaining.
I did that once it was $1 for a hacked account. Worked great until the owner found out hahaha but I had it for months. Hope that fool likes Sliders and King of the Hill and Highlander the series getting added to his tastes hhahahaha. Poor shmucko, don’t reuse passwords kids hahaha. I wouldn’t do it again to hell with netflix all the same stuff is available on free stream sites. I get the Disney bundle with my cell phone plan so I watch stuff on there sometimes. National Geographic has some cool stuff.
I have directv and a dvr which is pretty great but they try to “renegotiate” the bill to double each year and I have to negotiate it back down hahahaha. Been paying the same rate for years they always try to go up and I say that’s it I’m out of here and they cave. But it’s a waste of money I mostly watch Who’s The Boss and Married With Children and The Simpsons reruns.
I watched this yesterday and it was a fun watch
This show looks like ti could be good. Probably watch it tonight.
It goes on the list! That would have been great to watch before or after Free Guy. I thought about Ready Gamer One but the trailer didn’t grab me.
RP1 is actually a lot of fun. Hit the bong and expect for “I’m special” packed with a lot of 80/90’s nostalgia and a LOT OF GREEN if you are CGI blind.
Free Guy was funny. I liked the part where the girl jumps onto straddling his motorcycle gas tank and reaches into his pocket and says
Girl: “Is that a glock?”
Reynolds: “No”.
Girl: >Smiles<
Reynolds: “It’s two glocks.”
Watched that back in the day funny used to watch streets of San Francisco with my dad never though I would be living here lol
Currently bingeing Dexter. Haven’t rewatched since it’s original airing.
