Reportedly, Sony Pictures has announced they’re putting out a new Karate Kid movie due to the success of the Cobra Kai show. No one affiliated with the Cobra Kai show–writers, producers, actors inclusive–had any inkling that Sony was planning it. Apparently it’s going to take place outside the “Mayagi-verse” and have no tie-in to the original or the show.
Typical Sony Pictures…they own the rights, so they’ll put out yet another sequel/reboot…just like Spider-Man.

rewatching “the last man on earth”. back to season 1 episode 1. i wish they finished the show but they stopped after season 4.

I watched the whole run a few months back and couldn’t believe how they (inadvertently) ended it. It was like when My Name Is Earl ended on a to be continued episode.

The Devil’s Rejects and House of 1000 Corpses were both pretty good IMO. I believe I saw his Halloween that was also pretty good. You would never guess the same guy that did those did the Munsters if you didn’t know going in.
Watched this yesterday and it was interesting. I feel like it would have been fun to play more with more different times than they did but overall worth the watch.
I just finished it. very good. Yes, the dad was great, such an off-character.
I was animating on a comp looking over at the TV, but at the ending, I was glued to the tv screen.
Got to give it up to the guy playing Daumer. A series shot as well as a movie.
The research was thick in this, reenacting old news and court film and playing actually recorded police calls. You can watch the side by side on Youtube of the original media shots and scenes from this movie and they got it right. Took real care to cast look-alikes.
