I’m watching every old season of SNL.
Right now on S8-9.
The Eddie Murphy years. Pretty funny! Like 100x funnier than today’s SNL. I was a baby so I never got to watch these seasons… pretty dope!

Not exactly a high bar to set anyway.I can’t remember the last season I bothered with the new SNL, don’t even know the cast at this point. Some of the old ones were great but the Carvey/Meyers/Farley/Macdonald/Spade/Sandler years were the best imo.

I never sat and watched all the older ones episode by episode, more of a few episodes here - a greatest hits there. I always liked Akroyd’s sleazy toy salesman with bags of gas soaked rags and razor blades and stuff
