Forgot to post last nights creation this morning.
Veggie burger with cauliflower cheese roasted carrots and onions. These veggie burgers are the Beyond Meat ones. I have not eaten beef for 29 years so I donât know how it compares taste wise anymore, but on texture and smell it looks exactly like the wifes meat burgers I cook for her.
My daughterâs boyfriend is a big steak lover, and she is vegetarian, he has been eating these for the last 4 and a half months now, and still hasnât sussed it out lol.
They even ooze red beet juice when cooking them that looks like blood. Kind of puts me off a bit being that life like, but they are a nice change.

yeah, canât stand it. i prefer an apple pie, or a chocolate one if that even counts. like chocolate pudding and whip cream in a pie crust.

One of my uncles in the states makes a bad ass sweet potato pie. I guess you wouldnât like it either cause the taste and texture are similar.
Love me some apple pie, chocolate counts too in my books. Might have to make some homemade chocolate pudding pie tomorrow

No, not around here in Canada as far as I know. I wish there was though, cause my wife keeps making me bake a ton of stuff
Last nightâs meal was cabbage pie, chopped onions, grated carrots, chopped cabbage and 2 eggs
I changed a couple of ingredients, removed the potatoes and flour and added the peas I forgot to eat with my veggie burger and cauliflower cheese and some baby spinach and to replace the flour some psyllium husks. I also added some asiago parmesan cheese very strong flavor, but that didnât come through, needs more, and some mozzarella and a half table spoon of chilli which didnât give any heat. Over cooked it a bit as well, but not bad, I have the other uncooked half in the freezer to play with next week.
Made zucchini fries tonight not too bad for my first attempt, they came out nice n crispy just needed to add a bit more seasoning in the breading next time, overall they were a hit also made an avocado dip not pictured
