No just they come from the Great Lakes and run the tributaries to spawn where they stop eating so they just taste a little different I prefer the steelhead or cohos over the kings ā¦usually smoke most of the salmon I keep

No secret really lol, I just mix beef with diced parsley, onion, salt, pepper, all spice, cumin, and a bit of crushed garlic. I like it with a touch of cinnamon too, but usually omit it on request of the wife and kids
I donāt know if the traditional recipe calls for garlic, but I love it with some fresh garlic. I made hummus too, but it was gone before I even thought to take a photo!!
Iāve never made it before but Iāve had it before and really enjoyed. Thereās some local Turkish restaurant that does some really good ones here. Iāll have to make some with some of the over 60 lb of ground beef I still have from my half cow

Itās so worth it IMO. It hurt at first to pay so much up front but I eat a lot of beef and I still have a bunch left. At first I was worried if Itād last me the year but now Iām worried I wonāt finish this one in time to get another for new years. I live by myself though so Iām sure some hungry kids could put much more of a dent in it. I like having only a certain amount of everything so in the end youāre kind of forced to make a variety of stuff.
The place I got mine from was the place that supplies my favourite local butcher with some of their meat but this way it is much cheaper. You can even have the whole cow dry aged.
Yeah man, if I make an order it will definitely be from that site. They have some nice meat!

The roasted pigs head was delish and a success, it had a extra crispy skin and the meat on the cheeks were phenomenalā¦from now on I will be roasting every pigs head that we butcherā¦I ended up going to 3 different cook outs this wknd.
