Interesting. It never occurred to me to make a sandwich out of kippered herring. I’ve been eating it since I was in single digits, but always simply ate it out of the tin. Thank you, @Pawsfodocaws, for showing me kipper snacks in a new light!
Definitely, it was really good, I was trying to think of something to pair it with and mayo is the best option. Tasted wonderful. I think I’ll have some sardines today!

this is what a tasting menu looks like.
we started with a drink in the bar
then took our seatss. Started with Amuse Bouche
then Fois Gras with Carrot Apple jam with a glass of Sauternes
First course of the tasting menu was Salmon Cheesecake with Caviar - Emeril is famous for his savory cheesecakes
then Langostine finely diced with vegetables
then onto Turbot with Emeril’s reserve caviar
my son had the Gulf Shrimp Raviolo with Tasso cream
then I had the Scallop, it’s under the caper crisp
my son then had the Potato Alexa (truffled potato)
I had the Veal Sweetbreads but chowed it down before i got a picture. so damn good
and moved into the Venison
my son had the Filet with Shortrib
then we had sorbet with granita and onto dessert
Pineapple passion fruit cake with white chocolate crips
and Banana cream pie with dulce de leche
i will dream about this dinner for decades to come
those look AWESOME! Do you make the wrappers? Want to try,but not so sure about my skills…
Just ‘nuke’ them for a few seconds and mayo!
It’s like an order of magnitude improvement, try it once and you will never go back…

You can just buy them like I did, it’s very easy & simple.
This lemon buttermilk bundt cake was a couple of years ago. It was delicious. Maybe we’ll make it again. Thanks yous guys, I probably never would have considered making it again but for you.
They don’t sell them here… these folks think WonTon wrappers are ‘exotic’’!!

I had a taste for liver and onions so I made some… salad, moon pie for dessert nothing fancy just a simple supper.
One of the best meals in my opinion.
